WATCH: Patrick Mahomes, with Travis Kelce bizarrely throws away Justin Tucker’s gears moments before the Ravens-Chiefs Championship Game

The duo threw Tucker’s kicking gear around to frustrate him before the commencement of the game.

The Kansas City Chiefs are facing the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Conference finals. With the game having begun a while back, both sides are attempting to play mind games on one another. While the Ravens have gained notoriety for their physical style of play, the Chiefs are attempting to catch them off guard. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce seem to have thought of a couple of new tricks to annoy the Ravens before the game.

While warming up, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Justin Tucker, the kicker for the Ravens were all lined up on the same side of the turf. Tucker was getting himself set up to warm his leg up by practising some kicks. He kept his helmet along with the kicker’s tripod apparatus to support the ball and a football near Mahomes who was also warming his arm up.

At this point, Kelce who was running some routes and getting warmed up, came and basically just threw Tucker’s helmet and the football he intended to practice with to the side while the kicker had briefly turned back. It was hilarious and petty at the same time. As a football fan, you love to see it.

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce resorted to pettiness as a means to get into Justin Tucker’s head

When the kicker turned back, he was visibly surprised because a moment ago, he had left his stuff right there and now it was all over the turf. At this moment, Justin Tucker walked back and set his gear up once again. This time, it was right next to Patrick Mahomes. The quarterback was clever enough to not immediately kick his gear or do anything right in front of him.

Mahomes first calmly went next to Tucker, and the duo had a brief verbal exchange, likely wishing each other the best of luck. However, once the kicker turned back and took a few steps, Mahomes was quick to take the kicking holder and throw it back to the side. Tucker turned back and could not believe that someone had yet again messed with his setup.

It is surprising to see Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce resort to this sort of pettiness. It is definitely not bad, it is entertaining and shows just how badly they want to beat the Baltimore Ravens tonight. It is bound to be a close game and an extremely physical one as both teams are hungry to earn their ticket to the Super Bowl.
