“We’ll see them again in 4 weeks!” Micah Parsons issues an ultimatum for the Eagles at Cowboys’ stadium after gutting loss in Philly

Micah Parsons and the Cowboys suffered a 23-28 loss against the Eagles on Sunday.

On Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys traveled east to take on their AFC East division rivals Philadelphia Eagles in an exciting week 9 matchup. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys ended up suffering a rough loss on Sunday. But Dallas’ star linebacker Micah Parsons says the story isn’t over yet and issues a warning to the Eagles ahead of their week 14 rematch.

Following the rough 28-23 loss, the Cowboys’ 2-time All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons addressed the media in a lockerroom interview. In the interview, he was asked about the rematch between the division rivals in week 14. To which, Parsons replied:

I’m not even going to spit fuel in the fire. We’ll see them again in four weeks.

The Cowboys are scheduled to face the Eagles again in their week 14 game in December. In that game, the Cowboys will be the home team and they would be planning to complete their revenge.

Micah Parsons and the Cowboys had a rough night in Philadelphia as they failed to topple their division rivals in a crucial game. Parsons had a good outing against the strong Eagles’ offensive line, but he couldn’t help the Cowboys outscore the Philly-based football team.

Nonetheless, the 2-time Pro Bowl linebacker doesn’t think this loss is a measuring stick for them. Parsons said if they could secure a couple of victories, they could end up making a good run in the ongoing season.

It’s all about runs. We just gotta click at the right time and make our run.

Dallas certainly needs to go on a winning run as they are currently 3 games behind the Eagles in the NFC East division title race. If the Cowboys don’t go on a winning streak, the Eagles could easily run away with their second consecutive division title.

Furthermore, the star offensive lineman also credited the Eagles rookie offensive guard Tyler Steen for holding his own against the tough defensive front of the Dalla-based football team.

Hats off to Steen man. That’s a tough. . . It’s a hell of a first start, you know. . . I was proud of how he did on a short notice. So, just proud of how we battled.

In the end, the Eagles secured a hard-fought 28-23 victory against their rivals and improved to a league-best 8-1 record. Next, the Eagles have a much-deserved bye in week 10, which they will use to get some rest and prepare for the long remaining season ahead.
