“Yapping clown” – Colin Cowherd gets BASHED on social media over his contrasting Dak Prescott takes in three months span

The Dallas Cowboys‘ quarterback is always under the microscope. The American team is one of the most talked about teams in all of sports. Opinions on them and their players shift continuously. Dak Prescott, their quarterback, came into the season under a massive spotlight after the worst season of his career last year. He led the league in interceptions last season and a lot of the analysts were ready to move on from the signal-caller.
In September this year, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd called Prescott a regressing pocket passer who needed help. Fast forward a couple of months and Cowherd is now singing a different tune. The analyst did a complete 180 and has labeled Prescott as a top 3 QB in the league after a run of great performances in recent weeks.
Cowherd said in September this year:
When I see Dak, I see a regressing pocket passer who needs a lot of help.
A couple of months have gone by since that statement and Prescott has improved his play significantly since then.
In a recent episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports, the analyst said:
Dak’s a top 3 quarterback in the league. He is. I’m not getting turnovers, I am getting accurate, I am getting confident, I am getting big plays, I am getting fourth quarter excellence.

The Cowboys have been on a roll since their loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in week 9. Prescott has been on fire in recent games as he has led the Cowboys on a four-game winning streak. They will look to continue this momentum in their next game against the Eagles on December 11.

The criticism of Prescott was due to a poor 2022 season. He led the league in picks last year and was criticized for his turnovers. However, after a cautious start to this season, the signal-caller has picked up his game and, as a result of that, has the Cowboys winning games consistently.
