“You have 9 All-Pros and you want more?” LeSean McCoy doesn’t want Cowboys fans to be frustrated with underwhelming offseason moves, calls Dak Prescott the ‘real issue’

LeSean McCoy also slammed Dak Prescott for his poor post season returns.

Like the 2023 NFL postseason, the Dallas Cowboys have frustrated their fans with their performance in the subsequent offseason as well. The only difference is, this time, it is Jerry Jones and his management rather than the players on the field who failed to live up to the expectations of the fans.

After trading the running back Tony Pollard, fans thought they would go for veteran running back Derrick Henry. Henry’s departure from the Tennessee Titans was announced last season itself and there was every possibility for the Cowboys to get him.

However, that did not happen. Henry never received a call from the Dallas Cowboys and, as a result, the Baltimore Ravens bagged him. The deal made the fans understandably frustrated.

However, the former player and present-day analyst LeSean “Shady” McCoy believes that the Cowboys fans do not need to be frustrated regarding their ‘silent’ offseason endeavors. In the latest episode of SPEAK, the analyst noted that the Cowboys have a good squad strength as they have nine All-Pros. Instead, he tried to address the issue differently. He said that the real problem is Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are not getting the much-deserved success because of his inability.

The fans, take it easy, relax. The questions about free agency—what about the players you already have? You do have players to play-- You got Dak Prescott, you got CeeDee Lamb, you got Bland and you got Micah Parsons for 202500Nine All-Pros, that's the most in the last 15-16 years. Do you hear that bro? Nine All-Pros and we want more?

Shady highlighted the ‘real’ problem for the Cowboys

In the same segment of the show, LeSean McCoy spoke about the ‘real’ problem that the Cowboys are struggling with. He identified the issue that has been causing trouble for the Cowboys and preventing them from making it to the Super Bowl. That problem is no one but the team’s signal-caller Dak Prescott.

Ladies and gentlemen, let's have the real issue here. It ain't the roster, it ain't the free agency, it ain't the coaches. The hype of the Cowboys for one position, ladies and gentlemen. It is No.4 and his name is Dak Prescott. That's the reason they can't go past the divisional rounds. Unless you change Dak, there is no divisional game, there will be no conference games and there will be no championship games.

Dak Prescott’s contract is a big issue with the Cowboys presently. McCoy had earlier suggested that they need to restructure the amount that Prescott is supposed to get.
