Angelina Jolie accused Brad Pitt of strangling and hitting her child in the face

Angelina Jolie said Brad Pitt beat his children on a flight in 2016, causing the children mental trauma.

Before that, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie argued on the plane. In previously revealed documents, the star claimed that her ex-husband grabbed her hair, shook her vigorously, and pushed her into the bathroom. He became angry with his children when they spoke up to defend their mother. When the actor approached a child, Jolie rushed forward from behind to stop him. To get her off his back, Pitt threw himself into the plane seat, injuring Jolie’s back and elbow. Jolie said Brad Pitt then poured beer and wine on her and her children.

Sources close to Brad Pitt deny allegations of violence. The actor believes that the information Jolie gave is old and unfounded. Pitt believes that his ex-wife deliberately brought up these stories to tarnish his image before the child custody and property division trials.

After the flight from France to the US on September 14, 2016, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. After that, the actor was investigated by two agencies, the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services, for child abuse. After the noisy incident, the authorities did not prosecute the actor because they did not detect signs of violence during the investigation. Pitt also announced he would quit drinking after divorcing Jolie.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met while filming Mr. &Mrs. Smith (2005). Pitt then divorced his wife Jennifer Aniston to date Jolie. The two got married in 2014 and have six children together. In 2019, the couple ended their relationship and returned to single status. However, their divorce continues to take place in court because they have not yet agreed on the terms of property division and child custody.
