A Hollywood divorce lawyer said it would cost the couple even more money to change judges and restart the dispute.

On July 28, Us Weekly quoted Mark Vincent Kaplan – a lawyer who represented Charlie Sheen, Paula Abdul and Kevin Federline (Britney Spears’ ex-husband) commenting on the dispute between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. He believes that the war between the two stars is complicated and costly.

“They spend hundreds, even millions of dollars on litigation. This number will increase even more when the lawsuit starts again,” Vincent Kaplan said.

He’s sure nothing is more expensive than a custody battle, but notes that Jolie and Pitt are financially able to move forward. “Money is not the main factor that controls them. Considering how rich both of them are, they are not afraid to spend money on the lawsuit,” Vincent Kaplan said.

According to Page Six, after the loss on July 23, the Hollywood actor declared war on his ex-wife. He is determined to gain at least 50% custody of the five children (except Maddox who is over 18 years old) from Jolie.

Initially, judge John W. Ouderkirk ruled that the Troy star won the case and he was given equal time to care for the children.

But after just a few months, the California state appeals court decided to disqualify Ouderkirk from arbitration because of “lack of transparency in his relationship with Pitt and the actor’s lawyers.”

Thus, all of Ouderkirk’s previous rulings are no longer valid. Jolie and Pitt must enter a new phase in their dispute.

In addition to raising children, star Maleficent filed a request to withdraw from her business relationship with her ex-husband. Currently, the villa and winery Château Miraval in the South of France owned by the two stars have not been clearly divided.
