Angelina Jolie and female Iron Man star confess to being sexually harassed by ‘powerful Hollywood man’

Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow are the latest two female stars to expose Harvey Weinstein’s sexual harassment.

Film producer Harvey Weinstein is at the center of criticism in the entertainment capital of Hollywood for abusing his power to sexually harass many female stars for decades. Recently, many more women, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, have come forward to accuse Harvey Weinstein of his inappropriate actions in the past.

Paltrow said she was only 22 years old when Weinstein hired her to star in the film adaptation of Jane Austen’s novel “Emma.” According to the “Iron Man” female star told the New York Times, before they started filming “Emma”, Weinstein invited Paltrow to a meeting in his hotel room in Beverly Hills.

At the end of the meeting, Weinstein put his hands on the actress and offered to go into the bedroom to give him a massage. Paltrow said: “I was a child at that time, I felt scared to death.”

Paltrow refused Weinstein’s offer and then immediately left. She told her then-boyfriend – Brad Pitt . The male actor immediately became angry and confronted the producer of the movie “Green Beard”.

Sources close to Brad Pitt also confirmed to CNN that the actor confronted Weinstein and they had a very heated conversation. Brad made sure that Weinstein’s harassment of his girlfriend would never happen again.

According to Paltrow, Weinstein asked her not to tell anyone about this incident. The female star said: “I thought he was planning to fire me.”

In addition to Paltrow, Angelina Jolie also shared with the New York Times that Weinstein made unwanted advances toward her in a hotel room in the late 1990s, but she refused.

Angelina recounted via email to the New York Times : “I had a terrible experience with Harvey Weinstein, and as a result I will never do business with him again, and warn others when they think that decision. This action against women is unacceptable, in any field or country.”

Accusations against Harvey Weinstein exploded after the New York Times published a story exposing the film producer, in which many women accused Weinstein of raping and behaving inappropriately toward them.

Meanwhile, Weinstein’s spokesman denied the rape allegations and did not provide further comments.

In 1999, Gwyneth Paltrow won an Oscar for the film Shakespeare in love  produced by Weinstein.

The actress described Weinstein as “both generous, helpful, protective of others, but also strict and a bully”. Paltrow’s working relationship with Weinstein has ended, and now she wants to speak out in support of women who have faced similar situations.

“We are at a time when women need to send a clear message that this is over. This way of treating women needs to end now,” Paltrow said .
