Beyonce – The ‘Queen Bee’ singer earns $3 million for a performance
The black singer emerged from the band Destiny’s Child and was successful when he went on to sing on his own and married Jay-Z.

That seemed to be a stepping stone for her to decide to go further. The breakup of Destiny’s Child led Beyonce to Jay-Z – with whom she collaborated on her first solo album – Dangerously in Love. Jay-Z and Beyonce got married in 2008, which was also the milestone when Forbes started collecting data on the singer’s income.
After getting married, Beyonce earned up to 80 million USD. The famous couple built their fortune with a clear path. Beyonce mainly focuses on recording and performing on music tours, while Jay-Z builds his own empire with his music and financial investment company. Beyonce quickly surpassed Madonna and Celine Dion to become the highest-paid singer in the music industry.
Beyonce has held five tours in her career and all of them were successful in terms of sales. Her influence in America is so terrible that in San Francisco, a church organized a ceremony to worship Beyonce with up to 900 participants. In 21 years of artistic activity, Beyonce has gradually become the most successful female vocalist in modern American music with 22 Grammy Awards wins out of 63 nominations.
By 2014, Beyonce was announced by Forbes magazine as the most powerful star in the world, surpassing even Oprah Winfrey. In 2017 alone, the black beauty earned 60 million dollars, making her the star with the highest salary in the world last year. This huge amount of money comes from launching new music products, going on tours and working as a model to represent the brand. Her Formation tour grossed $250 million in ticket sales worldwide.
Currently, if a program or music festival wants to feature Beyonce, the organizer must agree to spend about 3 million dollars (70 billion VND) for each performance. If Beyonce and her husband perform a duet together, the salary must be up to 5 million.
Beyonce also cooperates with her mother – Ms. Tina Knowles to do fashion business. She was once in the top 53 richest self-made female billionaires in the world voted by Forbes magazine. Advertising contracts increased as Beyonce’s name became more expensive in Hollywood .
Beyonce appeared at a promotional event for Tidal.
Beyonce and her husband JayZ own an online music streaming brand called Tidal that is doing quite well. The Tidal company is currently worth about $600 million. Beyonce also owns her own perfume line Beyonce Heat, earning $400 million in sales of millions of perfume bottles bearing her name. Leading brands including Pepsi are not afraid to spend up to 50 million dollars to invite Beyonce to be their representative.
