A court on August 11 issued a ruling requiring a magazine to compensate actor Leonardo DiCaprio for “violating personal privacy laws” when reporting that DiCaprio had gotten Rihanna pregnant and wanted her get an abortion.

Tabloid Oops! This French company posted false rumors about DiCaprio and singer Rihanna in May 2015. Right on the cover of the issue, Oops! headlined: “Rihanna is carrying a drop of Leonardo’s blood: He doesn’t want to keep the baby”

DiCaprio immediately reacted and filed a lawsuit against Oops! and affirmed that he and the 27-year-old singer were not dating and there was definitely no way she was pregnant with his child.

In early 2015, many newspapers published rumors about DiCaprio dating Rihanna, especially after he appeared at her birthday party in early February.

However, acquaintances of these two stars have confirmed that they are just friends. Co-owner of Oops! Mr. Frederic Truskolaski also admitted that they have not verified the source: “We don’t know for sure whether Rihanna is pregnant or not, we just think she might be pregnant.”

After review, the court fined Oops! 8,000 euros for violating DiCaprio’s privacy and posting two secretly taken photos of him. Currently, DiCaprio is in the process of returning to the film set after a break since “The Wolf of Wall Street” (2013).

He has completed the movie “The Revenant” and is about to reunite with veteran director Martin Scorsese in a new project called ” Devil in the White City” ./.
