How Ironic! Angelina Jolie – Brad Pitt divorce judge is the one who witnessed and fully supported their marriage 4 years ago!

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie encountered an ironic situation before the arbitration hearing took place.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will officially face each other in court on December 4. One of the problems that delayed the couple’s divorce for too long was disagreement over child custody rights.

Specifically, Brad Pitt wants to share custody of his children while Angelina Jolie wants full custody. Brad Pitt’s lawyer believes that he has complete rights to his 6 common children. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie believes that Brad Pitt is not safe for her children.

Judge John Ouderkirk will decide custody of Brad and Angelina’s children.

According to The Blast, the Los Angeles court has approved Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to have a closed hearing to determine custody of their children. The couple chose a separate judge to handle this case and that was judge John Ouderkirk.

Coincidentally, Sir John Ouderkirk was the one who approved Brad and Angelina’s non-religious civil wedding at the Château Miraval estate in France on August 23, 2014. John made the couple husband and wife in front of their six children in a simple but romantic wedding that day.

Judge John witnessed Jolie-Pitt’s marriage 4 years ago.

John Ouderkirk was a police officer and deputy district attorney in the Los Angeles district attorney’s office but is now retired. He helped handle “Mr. and Mrs. Smith’s” divorce for a while.

This summer, Judge John was the one who warned that Jolie would take away custody of her children if she did not let Brad Pitt close to the children.

Sources shared on The Blast, Angelina was not very pleased when John Ouderkirk acted as her personal judge to arbitrate child custody matters because of her unfavorable ruling in the summer, but John is a famous fair person.

In addition to guardianship, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt also have to deal with asset division. The fact that both did not sign a prenuptial contract makes dividing assets extremely difficult.
