(N) Nick Cannon roasts ‘fat’ 50 Cent as he reignites years-long feud: ‘Get thick or die frying’
Nick Cannon has reignited a years-long feud with 50 Cent as poked fun at his weight.
The 42-year-old media personality – who is filling in for Jamie Foxx on Beat Shazam – was unrelenting as he called the 47-year-old ‘fat’ during a rant on his The Daily Cannon podcast on Friday.
On the show, Nick was reacting to an interview in which 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend Vivica A. Fox said she would be open to dating the In Da Club hitmaker again.
Nick did not pull any punches as he insisted the rapper does not look anywhere near the way he did when he dated the now 58-year-old actress.
He said: ‘You can, like, fantasize about Fif from 15 years ago. That’s a different Fif than this fat n***a that’s walking around now.’
When others on the show disagreed with his assessment, Nick was defiant as he said: ‘He is fat! He look like he got a pack of hot dogs on the back of his neck.’
His co-hosts Mason Moussette and Courtney Bee were not pleased with what Nick was saying but he decided to double down.
The star said: ‘You looking at them pictures from Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, now it’s get thick or die fryin’.’
Nick was referencing the cover art from 50 Cent’s classic 2003 album in which he stood shirtless while showing off his muscular body.
Meanwhile Vivica recently opened up about the possibility of dating 50 Cent again as they dated nearly 20 years ago from 2003 to 2004.
The Kill Bill actress was on Sherri Shepherd’s talk show last week and said: ‘Ben [Affleck] and Jen [Jennifer Lopez] did it, why not?
‘I’m looking for a partner. Someone that’s fun, got their own identity, their own money. I’m not trying to be a sugar mama.’
As for Nick and 50 Cent, this continues a years-long feud between the two of them which began in 2019.
In May 2019, 50 Cent blasted actor-producer Jackie Long, now 41, on social media as he posted a photo with the caption: ‘This punk a** n**** @jackielong better give me my money. You on BET now you can have mine by Monday fool.’
Long, who appears on BET’s Games People Play, responded in the thread, ‘N**** I gave you $250k you b**** about what n****?’
Long also put up his own post that he had paid off the debt.
Long received support from Nick Cannon, who wrote, ‘Don’t let that Big N**** bully you! Make it rain on these N****** Jack! LOL #ActorGang’
In response, 50 Cent called Cannon a ‘sucker a** n****’ and advising him, ‘Stay outta my business punk,’ adding, ‘The f*** you getting involved for Nicky.’
Then later on that same year Nick was feuding with 50 Cent’s mentor Eminem and released two diss tracks about him which the Candy Shop rapper took umbrage with.
50 Cent took to social media in December 2019 and did not hold back, calling Nick’s first diss track ‘trash’ as he posted a photo of Eminem
‘I don’t understand to save my life why someone would pick a fight with EM. He is a different kinda animal, I haven’t seen a motherf***er come close to beating him man.
He continued: ‘hey Nick that s**t was trash, I oughta kick you in yo a*s when I see you PUNK!’
Nick has been in the news in recent years as he has fathered 12 children with six different women.
