Nick Cannon let fans know he thinks Beyonce is one in a billion, even when compared to his ex Kim Kardashian.

The TV personality defended Beyonce after she was accused of trying to resemble Kim at the premiere of her Renaissance film on Saturday, where critics also claimed she ‘lightened her skin’ in an attempt to ‘look like a white woman’.

Taking to his Instagram on Tuesday, Nick shared a clip from his radio program Daily Cannon Show where he fiercely supported the ‘Formation’ singer.

‘Kim Kardashian wants to look like Beyoncé,’ he said, before adding that Kim, whom he dated in 2006, ‘wishes she looked like that’.

Nick went onto say that Beyonce has ‘looked the same since she was 16’ and called the critics ‘out of their f****** mind’.

He captioned the clip, ‘Some social media users are accusing #Beyonce of being a #KimKardashian lookalike after her recent Renaissance premiere, What y’all think about this?’

The Beyonce backlash began after the 42-year-old superstar appeared to have lighter skin and also wore a platinum blond wig in a photo snapped from her appearance at the Renaissance concert film premiere in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Shortly after the appearance, online trolls had suggested that the hitmaker ‘was white now,’ while others complained that ‘she’s not a Black woman!’

Nick wasn’t the only celeb to speak out in support of the Grammy winner, as her mom Tina Knowles stepped into the ring to clap back against her daughter’s vicious critics.

‘I am sick and tired of people attacking her,’ Knowles wrote in a lengthy caption to the video in which she denied commenters’ concerns.

She also compared her daughter’s outfit to styles worn by Black entertainers going back at least as far as Etta James.

‘Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,’ Knowles began her lengthy caption.

She explained that Beyoncé’s look was solely for her Renaissance documentary, ‘where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?’

‘How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy,’ she seethed. ‘Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. ALIEN Superstar duh!’

She accused her daughter’s critics of perpetuating ‘Jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards,’ instead of ‘celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don’t like her.’

Among those supporting Knowles in the comments were Insecure star Issa Rae, who cheered: ‘Go off!’

Robin Thede added: ‘LET THEM KNOW!!! The queen has only ever supported Black women and literally dedicates all she does to breaking down barriers for us in every arena!

‘She is a philanthropist, a mentor, a leader and a ground breaker. She is a FASHION ICON and anyone who doesn’t understand that she can use every color in the rainbow to create a look can kick rocks!’ she continued. ‘Do not delete your post! Leave it up so people can remember that you and your daughters are REAL PEOPLE who have done nothing to deserve the nasty things miserable idiots write! I’m sick of it!’

The actress Octavia Spencer also supported her.

‘@mstinaknowles You have raised beautiful, strong, intelligent black, PROUD TO BE BLACK women. Period,’ she wrote in the comments. ‘Anyone who says otherwise has their own issues to deal with. I’m sorry you’ve come across the negative comments that people don’t realize is a reflection of how they feel about themselves.’

Wicked star Cynthia Erivo added: ‘Snaps to all this!!! You have EVERY right to stand behind your baby girl!!! Love you .’
