Nick Cannon flashed his six pack during a live abs workout on social media this week.

The 42-year-old – whose ex Jessica White recently claimed she wasn’t allowed to date other people while in a polyamorous romance with him – admitted he needed to get back into shape as he prepared to take his followers through the paces.

‘Get your mats out,’ The Misfits star said as he began the shirtless demonstration dressed in a pair of blue sweatpants socks.

‘Every Friday, we’re going live,’ he told his millions of fans.

The Invitation singer and his trainer, Eric Small, began the workout doing Single Leg Toe Taps, in which one leg is lifted while he tried to touch his toes with the arm on the same side.

Hunk: Nick Cannon flashed his six pack during a live abs workout on social media this week
Nick said he decided to share the session focusing on his mid-section because ‘ I got to get my lower game back.’

‘My lower ab aint right where it needs to be at,’ he said, ‘We still a work in progress.’

The second set of reps included Double Crunches.

Nick and Eric both lifted their knees into a table top pose, put their hands behind their heads and curled toward their knees twice before returning their shoulders to the floor.

’10 minutes. You do this once a day you’ll be alright,’ he told viewers.

‘You’ll have a six-pack in less than a month.’

The move was followed by 10 reverse crunches, staying in the same position, but bringing the knee toward the face and lifting the bum off the floor.

The pair tackled heel touches, lying on their back with knees bent and feet on the floor as they moved laterally to touch their heels with their hands.

Weekly: Nick told his fans he would begin working out with them weekly on Mondays and Fridays live on social media

Five minutes: Nick and his trainer demonstrated a 10-minute ab routine which included various crunches and oblique exercises. As they performed the circuit live on social media, they estimated each round took less than five minutes
After that oblique warm up, Nick and his trainer rolled over on one side for an Oblique V, lifting their heads and feet up at an angle, making a V-shape five times slow, and five times at a quicker pace.

The Celebrity Prank Wars producer could be heard grunting and cursing at the effort.

The final move in the agonizing routine included a Down Up crunch.

The radio host and his trainer, who goes by Mr. Core, lay on their backs and put their straight legs in the air at a 90 degree angle as the reached to the hips for the ‘down’ part of the exercise and toward the feet for the ‘up.’

After they finished the first round, the panting actor  and his trainer estimated the total exertion took ‘less than five minutes’ as they rested.

The two did a bit of posturing for the audience, asking them to determine who had the better abs. ‘Of course they said you… six million fans’ said the trainer after looking at the comments in Nick’s feed.

Transformation: At the end of the workout, Nick told his fans, 'y'all are going to see the journey.... watch the transformation, it's about to happen'
During the second round a friend came in and asked if Nick wanted some Mexican food. His answer indicated his ab problems might not entirely be the result of lack of exercise.

‘I do want Mexican food,’ he said. ‘A carne asada burrito.’ He completed the order adding a few other dishes, ‘rolled tacos and a bean and cheese burrito.’

At the end of round two, an exhausted Nick demonstrated a ‘cobra pose’ to show how he stretches out. ‘That hurts so good,’ he claimed as he jumped up.

When the trainer asked if he wanted to ‘hit ’em with a bonus round,’ Nick voiced an emphatic ‘Hell No!’

Nick said he will be sharing his workout with fans twice a week, ‘y’all are going to see the journey…. watch the transformation, it’s about to happen.’
