Nick Cannon has sparked controversy among devoted Beyoncé fans by asserting that Bruno Mars has a more extensive collection of chart-topping hits than the record-breaking Grammy winner.

During an episode of his popular radio show, Daily Cannon on Amazon’s Amp, the host ignited a debate when he praised Mars’ captivating live performances.

“Have you ever witnessed Bruno’s live show? It’s mind-blowing! He brings his entire crew on stage, and their synchronized dances give off a vibrant Morris Day and the Time vibe,” Cannon exclaimed to his co-hosts.

Cannon’s colleague, Mason Moussette, responded, jesting about the exorbitant ticket prices for Beyoncé and Taylor Swift’s respective tours. “Honestly, I’d rather attend a Bruno Mars concert than a Beyoncé or Taylor Swift show,” Cannon boldly declared, which left his colleagues bemused.

“You must be out of your mind,” retorted Courtney Bee Bledsoe, rolling her eyes at Cannon’s remark.

Inquiring about the number of hits each artist possesses, Cannon challenged Bledsoe, who didn’t hesitate to respond, “Come on, man! Beyoncé, obviously! What are you even talking about?”

Bledsoe proceeded to rattle off a list of Beyoncé’s solo hits, including “Single Ladies,” “Drunk In Love,” and “Crazy In Love,” as well as Destiny’s Child classics like “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name.”

Feeling the pressure, Cannon clarified that he’s indeed a Beyoncé fan but remained steadfast in his belief that Bruno Mars holds a superior record in hit singles.

However, when pressed to name Mars’ acclaimed songs, Cannon appeared to struggle. “You’re putting me on the spot here,” he stammered, attempting to buy himself more time. “It’s Monday.”

Cannon’s assertion comparing Bruno Mars and Beyoncé didn’t just draw challenges from his Daily Cannon co-hosts. The fiercely loyal fanbase of Mrs. Carter, the Beyhive, also mobilized on social media to express their disappointment in the Drumline actor’s comments.

“Nick Cannon just said Bruno Mars got more hits than Beyoncé like let’s be f***g serious right now.”

“Cap,” someone else wrote.

“Nick Cannon says Bruno Mars has more hits than Beyoncé. I hope he is not teaching his kids maths.”

“Alright we the people would like to release Nick Cannon from the culture. First all these kids and now you saying Bruno Mars has more hits than Beyoncé!! MAN WHAT?!”

Furthermore, Cannon’s propensity for fathering multiple children became a target of criticism in another tweet that stated, “Nick Cannon suggesting Bruno Mars has more hits than Beyoncé only confirms that his only notable achievement is his ability to father children.”
