Parents caught up in lawsuits, how are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s 6 children doing?

In a new court filing, Angelina Jolie accuses Brad Pitt of strangling her child on a flight in 2016. The A-list couple once known as “Brangelina” has been involved in a long legal battle since since Jolie filed for divorce in 2016.

According to Page Six , in 2021, Brad Pitt was awarded joint custody of his 6 children with Angelina Jolie.

“Pitt is always looking for opportunities to spend more time with his children,” Insider reported.

Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt, 21 years old

Maddox was adopted by Jolie in 2002 from Cambodia and renamed Maddox Chivan Thornton Jolie. Soon after, she opened a foundation in Cambodia (now the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation), which helps provide health care, education, and conservation projects. In 2006, a children’s center was established under Maddox’s name in the Cambodian capital.

Maddox had a small role in Brad Pitt’s 2013 film “World War Z.” He also participated in his mother’s movie “First They Killed My Father” in his hometown of Cambodia.

There was also information that Brad Pitt’s fight with Maddox during a plane trip was one of the reasons that led to Jolie filing for divorce.

Maddox is currently studying at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. In a 2020 interview with Extra, Jolie said Maddox returned to the US to take her online classes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In February 2021, Maddox posted a rare photo of the tattoo on his right rib cage.

Maddox celebrated his 21st birthday in August with Jolie and his siblings.

Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, 17 years old

Jolie adopted Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005. Pitt applied to adopt her the same year. Zahara also provided a voice in Kung Fu Panda 3 and had a small, uncredited role in Maleficent, according to IMDB .

Jolie began working at a facility in Ethiopia in 2011, named after her daughter, for children who had been diagnosed with HIV or tuberculosis. Zahara is quite close to her younger sister Shiloh. The two were spotted on shopping excursions together and attended Nickelodeon’s 28th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards in 2015 with Angelina Jolie.

In October 2021, Zahara wore her mother’s 2014 Oscars dress to the world premiere of Marvel’s Eternals. Late last year, Zahara joined Jolie in Washington for meetings to “modernize and strengthen” the Violence Against Women Act.

Zahara begins classes at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia this fall.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 16 years old

Pitt and Jolie’s first biological daughter was born in May 2006. Media paid $4 million to take the first exclusive photos of Shiloh. The June 2006 issue of People magazine was recorded as one of the best-selling issues, with 2.2 million copies sold, according to the Associated Press.

As a child, Shiloh liked to wear boyish clothes – a fedora and sometimes a tie. In 2008, Pitt explained to Oprah Winfrey that Shiloh could have been called John.

Two years later, Jolie spoke out to Vanity Fair about their daughter. “She likes sportswear, casual clothes,” Jolie said. “She likes to dress like a boy.”

As she got older, Shiloh debuted a new look with long hair when attending events with her family. These days, Shiloh has ditched the suits but often chooses shoes that are fun and more comfortable than heels on the red carpet.

Most recently, Shiloh appeared as a dancer in a video for Doja Cat’s song, “Vegas” , in the film “Elvis” .

Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, 18 years old

Jolie’s second oldest son, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, was adopted in 2007 from Vietnam at the age of three. The boy’s name means “peaceful sky” in Latin and Vietnamese. Pitt received Pax a year later in 2008, according to People .

Pax, along with his brother Maddox, share the same aesthetic. He celebrated his seventh birthday with his family in Paris, riding a hot air balloon and going on a party cruise, according to People . That same year, in 2011, Jolie brought Pax to Vietnam so she could learn more about her culture and background.

Like some siblings in the family, Pax Thien also had a small role in one of his parents’ movies. He had a role in Jolie’s Maleficent. Pax also provided the animal voice of the panda in “Kung Fu Panda 3” along with his siblings Zahara, Shiloh and Knox.

Jolie revealed in a 2016 appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour that Pax has interests in music and DJing.

In 2021, Pax graduated from a high school in Los Angeles. According to British media, he skipped the graduation ceremony because he did not want to attract attention at the event.

Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt, 14 years old

Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline were born on July 12, 2008. Knox is Pitt’s grandfather’s middle name while Léon is Jolie’s great-grandfather’s name. Marcheline is Jolie’s mother’s name.

In 2011, Jolie described Vivienne to Marie Claire as a “young girl” who loves getting her nails done and likes the color pink. Jolie used the words “elegant and sophisticated” to describe her youngest daughter. Meanwhile, Knox is the opposite, he has a tougher personality, likes dinosaurs and swords.

Vivienne played the younger version of Princess Aurora in Maleficent alongside her mother. Meanwhile, Knox recorded animal sounds for Kung Fu Panda 3.

And Knox promises to grow in the design field. On Mother’s Day 2014, Knox turned one of her drawings of Maleficent into a gold ring.

Recently, Knox and Vivienne have been spending a lot of time with their mother.
