Forbes has valued the assets of Beyonce’s husband, famous hip hop star Jay-Z, at $1 billion including real estate and art collections.

Recently, Jay-Z was identified by Forbes as the world’s first billionaire rapper. He is one of the few billionaire entertainers and the first hip hop artist to own such a huge fortune.

With an estimated fortune of up to 1 billion USD, Jay-Z officially became the world’s first billionaire rapper.

The superstar rapper is also a fashion trendsetter, an online music mogul, and a sports management company owner. All of that helped him become the first billionaire rapper, according to Forbes: “In less than a decade, Jay-Z has apparently amassed a fortune worth a total of $1 million, making him a among the few entertainers to become billionaires and the first hip hop artist to do so.”

The various businesses that Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, owns or has a stake in include: a $310 million ownership of Armand de Brignac champagne, a $100 million stake in D’ Ussé cognac, streaming service Tidal $100 million, real estate worth $50 million, and investment of $70 million in Uber. It is also estimated that his music catalog is worth around $75 million.

Jay-Z, who grew up in Brooklyn, rose to fame in 1996 with his debut album Reasonable Doubt,  which sold more than 1.5 million copies. The singer’s sixth album, 2001’s The Blueprint  , was added to the Library of Congress’s National Recording Library – reserved for albums that are “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant” at the beginning. this year.
