During a promotional event for the new film “Colossal” at the Toronto International Film Festival, mother of one child Anne shared: “I become emotional when I lie, so I’m very bad at keeping secrets. Everyone keeps saying what’s wrong. The only secret I kept and I will tell everyone that I actually lied skillfully was when I was pregnant.”

According to this 33-year-old actress, the reason she kept her pregnancy and newborn baby a secret is very related. “I don’t feel like I’m lying. I thought: No, I’m just protecting my child. I’m like a mother bear protecting her cub,” she explained.

Marrying Adam Shulman in 2012, Anne Hathaway and her husband are currently happily married as they welcomed their first son in March this year. Up to this point, baby Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman is nearly 6 months old. Talking about her son, Anne confided: “He is the light of my life.”

Anne Hathaway is not pressured to lose weight after giving birth and she can fit into her old clothes thanks to exercise and keeping a comfortable spirit.

Like other mothers, Hathaway had trouble losing weight after giving birth. However, she is not too pressured but has positive thoughts about this issue. “I started practicing. I love that feeling, that feeling of strength. I realized that exercising is different now that I’ve had a baby. I tried trying on my jeans but they didn’t fit. After that I didn’t try anymore. Then one day, I fit them again. I won’t lie, it feels great , ” Anne confided.
