“Due to the size and staffing requirements of this event, these positions are employed to support the Taylor Swift concert only and there should be no expectation of ongoing work post this event,” the listing read.

To be considered for the role Swifties have to have prior experience in retail or high-volume events environment, as well as feel comfortable in large crowds.

Delaware North does not guarantee hired staff will be able to see the singer, as they warn Swifties: “As whilst we have some stalls on the inside of the venue, majority of the work will be outside of the stadium.”

The Taylor Swift casual job ad has received mass attention online with the TikTok receiving more than 200 thousand views, as keen fans take to comments to share their excitement – des[ite the job not being inside and having no way to see the singer.

“I SAW THAT ON SEEK AND SENT IN AN APPLICATION FASTER THAN HUMANLY POSSIBLE,” one person wrote.

“Praying for Sydney (job) to be announced soon,” chimed in another.

While a third Swiftie tagged her friend: “Should we just work it for Melbourne cos (cause) we don’t have tickets?”

The post also sparked attention from previous Delaware North employees, who took the opportunity to highlight the “reality” behind these job listings.

“Just so you know (Delaware North worker here!) if they see you or find out that you watched part of the concert or took photos, they can fire you,” one person wrote.

“Plus take away shifts. So don’t just apply to get that one event to think that u can watch or take photos while working,” replied another.

“All the people thinking they’ll be able to watch the concert not knowing how chaotic working in merch is,” a third person added.
