Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may lose their daughter Zahara if the demands of a woman who claims to be the girl’s mother are successful.

Mentewad Dawit Lebiso has announced that he wants to recover his daughter, who was illegally adopted from an orphanage in Ethiopia, according to the North American magazine In Touch.

The girl is currently three years old and has been living with the Jolie-Pitts and her extended family since she was six months old.

“Her grandmother and I worked hard to raise her up and we want her to return to recover her identity,” she demanded two years after Jolie took her from an orphan center.

According to this 24-year-old woman, Zahara was conceived when a stranger entered her house and forced herself on her.

After the baby was born in early 2005, Mentewad moved in with her mother.

Overwhelmed by the situation and with the idea that the girl would die of hunger, she fled, so her mother gave the little girl up for adoption.

She now claims that she never signed the adoption papers. Zahara Jolie-Pitt was the second baby that Angelina Jolie adopted, although she was later legally recognized by Brad Pitt.

She was adopted from Ethiopia in 2005 with symptoms of malnutrition. At that time, the actress said that she was an orphan and that she had AIDS.

Although her health is fragile and she has been on the verge of surgery for a hip problem, the girl grows up happily with her multiethnic family.
