She has landed her very first Vegas residency with her show Enigma. 

And storming the stage on Monday night, Lady Gaga rang in the New Year with an energetic performance, as she delighted crowd-goers with her vocal talent and stunning costumes during her gig at the Park Theatre in the Park MGM hotel.

With all eyes on her, the singer, 32, certainly didn’t disappoint as she slipped into a very quirky alien-inspired getup and blue wig for her 21 song set-list.

Known for her eccentric sense of style, Lady Gaga stayed true to her fashion tastes as she donned a sheer leotard, that boasted a plunging neckline, and unusual cape that came complete with a statement collar and framed her hips.

She paired her head-turning costume with matching gold boots and cuffs on each wrist, while hiding her usually long locks underneath a blue wig shaped in the style of a blunt bob.

Flashing a glimpse of the tattoos etched onto her inner arm in the revealing design, Gaga finished off her look with striking make-up, including a strong silver hue around her eyes and coral lip.

Gaga was surrounded by dancers throughout her performance and transformed her look several times throughout the show, slipping into a sheer purple dress at one point that revealed her slender physique underneath.

Her New Year Eve’s show marked the third date of her 74 shows residency in Vegas.

Gaga first confirmed her residency at Park MGM in December 2017, with reports claiming the star landed a $100million deal and could possibly extend her dates – it is currently scheduled until November 2019 and alternates two different performances; her Enigma show and a Jazz & Piano show.

Speaking of her residency show, Gaga has said: ‘It is unlike anything I’ve done before. It will be a celebration of all that is unique and different within us.

Lady Gaga kicked off her residency on 28 December and has since seen Celine Dion supporting her in the crowd as she delighted fans with hits such as Bad Romance, Million Reasons and Born This Way.

She also includes her hit Shallow from movie A Star Is Born, where she stars alongside Bradly Cooper.

Celine is set to bring her concert series at Caesars’ Palace’s Colosseum to a close on June 8, 2019, 17 years after she first began performing regularly in Sin City.

Taking to Instagram, Lady Gaga shared a video of the Canadian superstar passionately rocking out to her 2011 track ‘The Edge of Glory’.

Celine proved to be a huge fan of the Poker Face songstress, as she put on an exuberant display, dancing and singing out loud to Gaga’s greatest hits with no inhibitions.

She could be seen energetically busting moves, fist-pumping and dramatically throwing her arms in the air with sheer delight.

Gaga paid tribute to the ‘supportive’ superstar singer, after revealing that Celine had prayed with her and her entire crew backstage before the show.

She said: ‘That is how amazing she is. When she was asked if she had any advice for me in Las Vegas, she said I didn’t need it because I was strong and I knew what I was doing.

‘And, oh my God, I swear to you, the number of women that I can count on one hand that are supportive in this industry, it’s like I would lose fingers, okay? You are amazing.’

Katy Perry and Adam Lambert had been in the audience for Gaga’s Vegas debut.

She joins a whole host of stars who have landed their own residencies in Sin City, including Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Boyz II Men, Lionel Richie and Sir Elton John.
