Julia Roberts to Receive Icon Award at 2022 Academy Museum Gala
Julia Roberts, the Oscar-winning actress, will be honored with the Academy Museum Gala Icon Award at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ second-annual gala in October.
The gala will also honor other industry figures, including Steve McQueen, Tilda Swinton, and Miky Lee.The event, presented by Rolex, will feature a star-studded host committee and co-chairs, including Halle Berry, Ryan Murphy, and Lupita Nyong’o.
Roberts is renowned for her iconic roles in films such as Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovich, and she expressed her openness to doing another romantic comedy if the right script comes along.
