Cody Rhodes Joins Liam Neeson & Pamela Anderson In Iconic Hollywood Reboot

Cody Rhodes will star alongside Hollywood legends in a comedy reboot.

A Naked Gun reboot is in the works with Liam Neeson stepping into the starring role previously played by Leslie Nielsen.

It was recently reported that Pamela Anderson would also be on the cast, and according to a new report from Daily Mail, the cast will also include current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

“Cody may be having a huge feud with The Rock [Dwayne Johnson] in the WWE ring right now but it looks like the battle will extend to Hollywood as he is going to star in the new Naked Gun film.

And to make things a little easier for himself, he might actually end up playing himself in the film.”

Continuing, the source pointed to Rhodes’ previous experience in front of a camera, noting his guest role on Arrow.

“Cody has had experience being in front of a camera besides the WWE by working on Arrow and a few other shows.

But this will be a huge movie and Cody is super excited to film his part and make it something that’s both fun for him and funny for everyone that sees it.”

The source indicated that while his role might not be large, Rhodes’ character is important to the overall plot of the film.

“It may be a cameo but his role is important and lends itself to the full story of the film.”
