Liam Neeson looks to dismiss speculation regarding his health as he has reportedly signed on to star in upcoming thriller The Commuter.

The action hero is said to be in line for a role in the new suspense blockbuster, which would see him play a businessman stuck in the midst of a criminal conspiracy on his way back home.

According to US website Deadline, Neeson is set for the movie – which is due to start filming in New York in Spring 2016 – with Byron Willinger and Phil de Blasi taking the helm.

It comes after his representative dismissed concerns over his appearance when the star was spotted out and about looking frail in recent weeks .

However, a spokesman told Mirror Online that the Taken actor has “never been healthier”.

The 63-year-old actor – who was almost unrecognisable when he was seen recently wearing a bandanna and shades – had been spotted looking thinner than usual with gaunt features.
