The first part of the series ended with the protagonist, Seong Gi, being put in quite a tough spot.

Not towards a system that can not be shattered, but because of those who created a game meant to feed on people’s misery.

The teaser of season 2 started with a similar theme. Lee Jung-Jae was seen, adorning his controversial red hair, as he walked out of an airport.

The Comparison of Lee Jung-Jae’s Seong Gi and Liam Neeson Is Inevitable
One of Liam Neeson’s most iconic roles to this date is that of Taken, where he played a vengeful character, who will go to the ends of the Earth to save his daughter from kidnappers.
This role was so significant and memorable that fans cannot help but compare what Lee Jung-Jae’s character said, to his speech from the film.

“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for ransom I can tell you I don’t have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills.
Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now that’ll be the end of it.
I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.”Liam Neeson’s iconic speech from his film, Taken.
Both of these characters deliver their threats via phone, telling the person on the other line that their days are numbered.
Both also follow a similar theme of telling the other person that they do not care what they have to do in order to get what they want.
While Neeson’s is a lot more menacing, it can be expected that Seong Gi’s character will not be as nice as audiences are used to anymore.
