In fact, it is one of the main reasons why the LPGA and Paige don’t see eye to eye. With the bold choice of using her beauty and attractive looks, Spiranac has created her brand. The fact that Paige once failed to qualify for the LPGA did sow the seeds of tension between her and the tour. But later, when her increasing fan-following got her offers from exclusive golf brands, it irritated female golfers who see this as an unfair advantage that Paige gets despite not playing in competition.

Spiranac is deeply aware of the eye rolls and snide remarks that come in her path of golf. In the latest episode of her podcast, she sheds light on why she chose to adopt a bold persona. But first, she makes it clear that money is not the encouraging factor behind it. She says, “I wouldn’t say that money is my driving force when I wake up in the morning. And that’s not the first thing that gets me going. She adds that her parents and most people who know her will agree with it. “I’m very stubborn, and when someone tells me I can’t do something, I want to do it even more.” She continues, At beginning of my career I was put in this box, you know, ‘sexy bimbo who couldn’t play’. And every time I tried to get out of there I tried to do something different.”

She was continuously put back in the box, so she finally accepted it. You know, I’m going to stay in my box and I’m going to do it really f***ing well,” she says, while bravely facing criticism rolled her way.
