I can only imagine how stressful a time it is to be Jennifer Lopez right now. By all accounts, 2024 should have been a year to remember for the popular singer. Halfway through, though, things appear to have notably soured.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know by now that Lopez and husband Ben Affleck are going through some things. If I’m honest, that’s putting it mildly.

Rumors are abound that the A-list couple are heading for divorce, and there’s a serious body of evidence – if we’re to believe reports at least – that separation is on the cards. Not only that, but J Lo earlier this month canceled her planned tour of North America, citing the reason as needing to spend time with her family.

Last week, Jenny from the Block was spotted on holiday in Positano, Italy, without the company of her husband, Ben Affleck, or her children. The 54-year-old singer did not post about the vacation herself, but images and videos of her walking around the island made their way to American media outlets.

It turns out Italy wasn’t the only destination on Lopez’s European trip. In her first public outing since she was seen in Italy, the singer is said to have turned heads at the Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show during Paris Fashion Week.

Unsurprisingly, the masses were in agreement that J Lo, 54, looked amazing at the event, though there were a few people online who felt the need to point out her perceived serious demeanor.

Lopez donned a tan-colored midi dress for the occasion, completing her look with black leather gloves, a black purse, and gold platform heels.

Yet in pictures that emerged online, the On the Floor superstar failed to crack a smile, leading to some fans expressing concern over her general well being given all that she’s going through at the moment.

One person wrote: “She looks so different 😔 Hope she recovers soon ❤️‍🩹 [sic].”

“She looks so sad. She is missing her JLO glow [sic],” another agreed.

“Her eyes are sad..” said a third.

A fourth opined: “Man, I know the pile on is on trend right now for her🙄 I think she looks gorgeous even though you can see pain/sadness in her eyes.“

Another said: “She looks exhausted and gaunt. The strain is showing. Why can’t she take time out from the public eye and breathe at home …. Who’d be famous.”

There were, of course, many who commented to express positive feelings about the star and her look, but it’s perhaps fair to assume that her solo trip to Europe was one taken to get away from the stresses she’s currently facing in the US.

What the future holds for Lopez and Ben Affleck remains to be seen, but with reports insisting that the pair have put their luxurious Beverly Hills mansion on the market (this only a year after having purchased it in the first place), there’s more than enough room for negative conjecture to take hold.
