Beyonce got something stuck in her throat during last night’s show, but she came back stronger than ever.

The legendary singer, 42, is currently mid-way through the US leg of her worldwide tour, having awed UK audiences earlier this summer.

While the superstar is famed for her professionalism, an entire world tour operating without a single glitch would be, well, impossible.

There have been a few technical issues so far – like the entire sound system cutting out – which the singer has handled really quite well if you ask us. And another incident where a fan tried to throw something onto the stage prompting her dancers to come to the star’s aid.

Well, last night during her Seattle show, Beyoncé appeared to have something stuck in her throat and had to stop singing for a moment, but how she handled the situation is truly something to behold.

In a widely circulated video on X, formerly known as Twitter, Beyoncé can be seen coughing during her performance of I Care and trying to continue singing despite losing her voice.

She takes a small break, before jumping right back in with what can only be described as incredible vocals.

In the background of the video, a fan can be heard shouting: ‘She lost her voice, oh no!’ followed by: ‘Water, people, water!’.

The responses were, well, awed, with one user commenting: ‘As a singer, often times i get this like itch or rasp in the back of my throat and i either have to cough and or drink something warm/hot. IDK why but it comes always when your deep in the moment. But this comeback was intense and such a pleasure to see. She’s GOD’s gift.’

Another wrote: ‘This little cough made me happy. She’s such a boss & does everything flawlessly.’

One user said: ‘Even when she got the water she didn’t drink it to keep the runs going … a true professional that puts her audience experience first.’
