After a fiery Hollywood marriage to Angelina Jolie, it has taken Brad Pitt eight years to publicly declare his love for another woman. 

But the actor, 60, made a huge statement with his red carpet debut with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, 34, at the Wolfs Venice Film Festival premiere on Sunday.

The businesswoman, who has been dating Brad for two years, has no interest in the limelight and kept her three-year marriage with ex-husband Paul Wesley, who starred in Vampire Diaries, private. Paul, 42, filed for divorce in 2023.

A relaltionship with someone who is reportedly ‘feisty’ but down-to-earth makes a refreshing change for Brad, given his past two high profile marriages.

While his union with Jennifer Aniston was constantly in the headlines and they were dubbed ‘Hollywood’s ultimate power couple’, he’s since implied several times that he was ‘bored’ in their marriage and admitted that he ‘allowed’ himself to become ‘dull’.

His relationship second wife Angelina was quite the opposite: beginning with electric chemistry on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith and ending in one of Hollywood’s most acrimonious divorce battles of all time – which is still ongoing.

The former power couple are in the midst of a fiery battle over their French winery, Château Miraval, and the custody of their six children.

Just days before their red carpet debut, the Angelina, 49, had been in the city promoting her biopic Maria but left well before their arrival.

And while Ines may not like to overshadow Brad in public – she proves she is more than a match for the actor with friends saying she is ‘feisty’, goes skinny dipping and has her own successful career away from Hollywood.

Insiders add Brad is so in love he wants to marry her and even have more children after taking the next step in their relationship with their public debut.

Of their red carpet appearance, a friend of Brad’s told The Sun: ‘Brad isn’t someone who does this for show. He is really happy.

‘Appearing together in Venice is another step in the relationship. Friends are really grateful that he’s so happy because he’s been through a lot.’

Of particular significance was Ines posing on the red carpet with Brad alongside his close friends, George and Amal Clooney.

They couples reportedly enjoyed dinner at Da Ivo, the Clooneys’ favourite Venetian restaurant during their visit to the city – another seal of approval from George and Amal.

Brad has been close friends with George for years, but despite this they were never seen socialising with both their wives when he was married to Angelina – who is open about the fact she doesn’t court close friendships.

Brad was tipped to be the best man at George’s wedding to stunning human rights lawyer Amal in 2014.

But in the end Rande Gerber – who is married to Cindy Crawford and co-founded Tequila brand Casamigos with the actor – was Clooney’s best man at the lavish wedding in Venice.

Fans were shocked at the perceived wedding snub – and even more so when it emerged that Brad hadn’t attended the nuptials of his alleged best friend at all.

It was later revealed that Brad had been too busy filming The Sea with then-wife Angelina and the shooting date had clashed with the wedding – despite being relatively close by in Malta.

Rumours swirled that there was intense ‘rivalry’ between the Angelina and Amal, despite the closeness of their husbands.

Angelina reportedly did not like Amal, with friends telling Page Six in 2018 that Angelina was ‘insanely jealous’ of Amal ‘because she believed Amal has stolen her identity’ as world’s most glamorous humanitarian.

However, when Ines hit the red carpet alongside George Clooney’s human rights lawyer wife Amal, 46, it did not take long to notice there are parallels between the two.

The businesswoman speaks multiple languages, in English, Spanish, German and Italian.

After being brought up in Cologny and attending a prestigious high school, College Calvin, in Switzerland Ines graduated from the University of Geneva in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in business.

According to her LinkedIn, since 2020 she has been the head of wholesale at Anita Ko Jewelry, which has celebrity customers including Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Bieber.

She is also known for having an interest in wellness as she is a certified health coach in Integrative Nutrition, which is a bonus for Brad who got sober after his split from Angelina.

Prior to that her CV included working as a jewellery department intern for Christie’s and a client services intern for Kempinski Hotels.

Ines also mixed in Hollywood circles before meeting Brad. The businesswoman had separated from Vampire Diaries actor Paul.

Paul and Ines were married in a quiet ceremony in 2019 and kept a relatively low-profile throughout their short marriage.

Fans didn’t even know there had been a wedding until their reps confirmed the marriage to a magazine after both were spotted with bands on their ring fingers.

Three years later, a representative for the couple confirmed in September 2022 they separated and had been living apart for several months.

‘The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago. They request privacy at this time,’ the representative said.

Ines is said to have met Brad through mutual friends and was seen publicly with Brad for the first time at a Bono concert in Los Angeles in November 2022.

The couple then spent the New Year together in Mexico and in February travelled to Paris.

A source told one magazine, Brad also took Ines to his home in California.

They said: ‘They go skinny dipping in the ocean. He hasn’t felt this way in years. Ines is a handful and he likes that.’

They also were together to ring in Brad’s 60th birthday in December.

Brad attended the Santa Barbara International Film Festival with Ines in early February and move into together to his Los Feliz home.

The couple have been spending the summer at Chateau Miraval, the French winery the actor once shared with ex-wife Angelina.

‘He’s serious about Inés,’ a source told People magazine. ‘He’s very happy and enjoys spending time with her. She’s easygoing and everyone likes her.’

While Brad has done some solo traveling this season, including a stop in Lake Cuomo to visit close friend George Clooney and his wife Amal, he has carved out pockets of time to spend with Ines at the winery, Page Six reported.

He has also been seen motorcycling in Iceland and has been working on his forthcoming movie, F1.

Brad and ex Angelina tied the knot at Maraval in 2014, years after they’d been an item.

They share six children — Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.

The former couple’s bitter legal battle over the chateau continued in court on August 1 after Jolie’s side filed a new motion.

They purchased the Correns, France retreat for around $60 million in 2012, according to People.

And the Hollywood A-listers even held their 2014 wedding on the grounds of the sprawling property.

It came after they bought a controlling stake in the vineyard in 2008. Jolie sold her portion in October 2021, sparking ire from Brad.

Pitt claims that Jolie made the sale in spite of their prior deal that neither would sell their stake unless the other approved.

Per legal documents obtained by People in February 2022, the Maleficent actress auctioned off her portion to Tenute del Mondo of the manufacturer Stoli Group.

In turn, Brad claims that Angelina’s former investment company Nouvel owed his company Mondo Bongo the right of first refusal.
