Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt seemed perfect to the outside world
With all eyes on the golden couple, the public was envious of their seemingly perfect relationship. And their million-dollar wedding did nothing to ease the fixation the world possessed for their courtship. While reciting their vows, Aniston promised to always make Pitt’s favorite banana milkshake. Meanwhile, her husband-to-be vowed to find a balance on the thermostat. And at the end of the night, fireworks burst in the sky.

Despite their wedding appearing like something straight out of a Disney movie, their relationship behind the scenes was far less magical. But that’s not to say that it didn’t have its moments. Like all relationships, according to Aniston, she tells Vanity Fair that hers with Pitt was both “beautiful and complicated.” She adds with certainty that she “doesn’t regret” her five-year marriage to Pitt.

Aniston admits she’d have to be a robot not to feel any hurt or anger regarding their divorce. In her interview with Vanity Fair, the actress opens up about the fact that Pitt “wasn’t there for her.”
In fact, when Aniston was anxious and devastated over the ending of Friends, Pitt couldn’t find the time to attend the final taping of the series.
When it came to Pitt and Aniston’s housing preferences, both had very different ideas about how they wanted to style their home. According to the actress, Pitt enjoys modern decor while Aniston prefers a warmer, comfier atmosphere.
Her Vanity Fair interview further proves this point.
“Although the bungalow was dark and depressing when she first saw it, a quickie makeover has transformed it into a cozy sanctuary that’s far more representative of Aniston’s personal taste than the showplace she and Pitt shared, where the décor seemed all hard edges and unforgiving materials.
“Brad and I used to joke that every piece of furniture was either a museum piece or just uncomfortable,” Aniston says. “He definitely had his sense of style, and I definitely have my sense of style, and sometimes they clashed. I wasn’t so much into modern.”
When the interviewer asks what Aniston is enjoying about their split, the actress says, “I can have a comfortable couch,” with an added wry smile.
