Jennifer Lawrence joined her close friend and fellow actress, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, for a relaxing lunch outing in New York City on Wednesday. 

The Oscar winner, 33 – who recently enjoyed a casual date night with husband Cooke Maroney – showed off her chic fall fashion as she happily caught up with the Fleabag actress, 38, in the Big Apple.

The mother of one was seen sporting a white blouse that was partially unbuttoned at the top and tucked into the waist of a pair of loose-fitting, tan trousers.

She added a black belt around the waist of the pants and layered the ensemble with a coat that fell down past her knees.

The beauty carried a sleek, black purse over her right shoulder to hold items she needed during the busy day and slipped into a pair of black shoes to complete her overall look.

To accessorize her look, Jennifer wore a necklace as well as a pair of circular, pink shades that added a pop of color to her outfit.

The Hunger Games star was seen holding a lighthearted conversation with Phoebe who was dressed down for the daytime excursion.

The British-born actress opted for comfort in a pair of black, gym leggings as well as a matching jacket that was zipped up at the front.

She slipped into a pair of white sneakers that were secured with laces to stay comfortable while strolling through the bustling city streets.

The Killing Eve star added a denim jacket on top to help her stay warm in the cooler temperatures, and carried a black bag on her right shoulder.

Her brunette locks were partially covered with an Adidas cap that was placed on top of her head.

Both Jennifer and Phoebe were seen talking as they walked side-by-side, and have notably been pals for years. Back in 2019, Amy Schumer had  notably uploaded a snap of herself posing with the pair during a fun night out.

Jennifer Lawrence enjoys a date night with Cooke Maroney

The pair’s outing comes shortly before Jennifer is slated to celebrate her fourth wedding anniversary with husband, Cooke Maroney.

The lovebirds tied the knot on October 19, 2019 during a romantic ceremony in Rhode Island. Since saying ‘I do,’ the couple welcomed son, Cy, in February 2022.

While talking to Interview Magazine earlier this year in June, the No Hard Feelings actress opened up about her relationship with Maroney – which she tends to keep out of the public eye.

‘Fortunately, my husband is the greatest father in the entire world,’ she gushed. ‘So when I’m working, I don’t have any more guilt than the usual every day, all-day parent guilt.’

When it comes to motherhood, Lawrence admitted that she has become more picky in regards to working on projects in Hollywood. ‘There’s no squeezing when you have a baby.’

‘It definitely helps weed out projects: “Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Is this worth being away from my child for half the day?”‘ the beauty further explained. The star also discussed raising her little one as an A-list movie star.

‘I’ve contemplated having a child that’s being born into a lifestyle that’s different from his friends,’ and later added, ‘The best thing I can do is just make sure he knows he’s loved, and that he’s our number one priority, and try to be a good example of kindness.’

‘I’m sure there will be challenges specifically from my choices and my lifestyle, and we’ll both have to confront that and deal with it when that day comes.’

After taking some time away from the big screen, Jennifer returned to acting with the comedy, No Hard Feelings, which was released in June.

She has a number of upcoming projects up her sleeve, such as a new adaptation of East Of Eden, as well as a biopic that follows the story of Hollywood agent, Sue Mengers.

Phoebe has also been keeping busy, and is not only known for starring and writing the hit series, Fleabag, but recently starred in Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny.

She is slated to appear in the upcoming film titled, Imaginary Friends, which also stars other A-listers such as Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Ryan Reynolds and Steve Carrell.

The premise follows, ‘a young girl who goes through a difficult experience and then begins to see everyone’s imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real-life friends have grown up,’ per an IMDB synopsis. The project is slated to hit theaters in May 2024.
