Khloé Kardashian confirmed that she is not back with her ex Tristan Thompson, we are just raising our children together

Tristan Thompson, after his multiple cheating scandals. These scandals, which included him cheating while the reality star was pregnant with their first child together, played out in the public eye and clearly caused Khloé pain. Despite that, she’s doubling down in a new interview about why she’ll never fully kick the NBA player to the curb.

In an interview with British publication TMRW, Kardashian revealed that although there are times when she wishes she could fully cut Thompson out of her life, she’s committed to him as a co-parent for the long haul and determined to keep her kids innocent and unaware of their drama for as long as she can, or at least until they are 13 years old!

Khloé’s claims her two kids were the only good things that happened in her 30s

Despite having ridiculous amounts of wealth and fame, Khloé shared with TMWR that besides having daughter True (5 years old) and son Tatum (18 months), “every other day” of life for the last decade “has been torture”. It seems pretty clear that this is at least partially because of the pain of being having her partner’s cheating be so public.

Despite the pain Thompson has caused her, Khloé is adamant that she wants their children “to have beautiful relationships with their dad”.

Khloé sometimes wants to be a ‘petty b-tch’ to Thompson

While Khloé generally likes to put a positive spin on parenting with Thompson (who has four children, including the two he shares with Khloé), she also got a little more real in the interview, noting that sometimes she “There were so many times that my feelings got control of me and I was impulsive and I tweeted something or posted something and things that you regret. But in my opinion, I’ll never regret being a nice person. Do I have days I want to be a petty bitch? Of course! But I sort of do that privately.”

That nice person vibe extends to Thompson because, according to Khloé, “if we’re blessed enough to have a dad that wants to be there and wants to show up and be hands-on, why would I prevent that from happening?”

Talk to moms about mom stuff. And make money doing it.

Khloé also revealed that daughter True doesn’t have a cell phone yet

Although most parents would hopefully agree that there is no reason for someone in preschool to have their own cell phone, Khloé explained that she feels like she’s out of the norm for not letting 5 year old True have a phone. She noted that “some parents allow their kids to have cellphones or this or that. And I’m like, there’s no chance in hell would my daughter have a cell phone right now.”

The reality star said she doesn’t “see her getting a phone or anything like that until she’s 13”. This is largely because Khloé, whose family has dominated social media, shaped beauty standards, and chosen to reveal their kids to the public, knows exactly how ugly social media can get.

Khloé want to ‘protect her children’

Despite having enough financial resources to be able to make choices to live a more private live and to keep her children out of the public eye, Khloé continues to seek to find a balance between chasing fame and trying to keep her kids innocent.

Though her fame and money comes from having a large public following and building a large social media following, Khloé also argues that she doesn’t think “comments and that many people having access to you or having an opinion about you is healthy at my age. And I’m 39, so I can’t imagine the impact that has on someone mentally and emotionally in their young, formative years.”

Khloé and the rest of her sisters are scheduled to return for the next season of their reality show in spring 2024.
