Are we in the final month of Tayvis?

Taylor Swift Travis Kelce

UPI/Alamy Live News

Ever since going public with their relationship last year, Taylor Swift and star Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have been at the center of a ton of media attention, with the pop star attending Chiefs games (including the Super Bowl) last season, and Kelce frequently appearing at Swift’s Eras Tour shows to support his girl.

Things seem to be going well for the couple, though obviously at the beginning of the relationship there was plenty of speculation that it was all staged for the media attention.

And that speculation arose once again after photos started going around purported to show the media plan for bringing the “relationship” to an end.

The document titled “Comprehensive Media Plan for Travis Kelce’s Public Relations Following Breakup With Taylor Swift” purports to have been created by Full Scope Public Relations, which is the PR firm that represents Kelce.

And the media plan lays out the strategy and timing for the breakup, including a public announcement on September 28. The document even includes an example statement:

“Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time. They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.”

The plan calls for statements to remain “gracious, respectful, and stress mutual respect,” and for Travis to focus on his recent sports achievements and avoid discussing personal details about the relationship.

But representatives of Full Scope told the Daily Mail that it’s the media plan that’s fake and not Travis and Taylor’s relationship, saying that the documents are “entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorised by this agency.”

“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.”

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Taylor Swift Featured FIVE TIMES In NFL’s New Hype Video

The NFL is BACK this week.

I can hardly wait, so it’s a good thing that there’s only a couple of days left until pro football kicks off in full force. The Kansas City Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens to start the season with a bang on Thursday night, and then on Friday, the Green Bay Packers take on the Philadelphia Eagles… exclusively on Peacock. Last time the NFL aired a game on Peacock, my car got towed.

Roger Goodell, if you are reading this, I’m still waiting to send you an invoice for that.

But anyways, enough about my stubbornness not to join on with yet another streaming service. Let’s instead focus on the fact that after waiting for six months, the NFL season is almost here. The league posted this hype video on social media earlier, and though it’s sure to get you psyched for football, see if you notice what everyone online has been pointing out:

Is football back this week? Or is Taylor-Swift-adjacent-to-football back this week? It’s hard to tell with that promo…

For those keeping score at home, that 30 second clip showed the reigning NFL MVP, Lamar Jackson, only one time. Taylor Swift appeared five different times. If you forgot how much that ticked off NFL fans last year, all of these nasty comments that have shown up as replies to the NFL’s post should help to jog your memory:

As you can see, fans aren’t pumped up for another season of cutaways to the pop star during NFL games. And though all of those replies were brutal, none were as calculated and cruel as this comment about Aaron Rodgers, who tore his achilles four plays into his New York Jets tenure last year:

Travis Kelce To Have A Cameo In ‘Happy Gilmore 2’

The Happy Gilmore sequel is shaping up to be a big one.

Adam Sandler was initially trying to keep the project under wraps, but just like how his rival would do in the movie, Shooter McGavin himself (Christopher McDonald) accidentally let things slip a little too early. So the Sandman came out and confirmed that ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ is in the works, and has since teased some really big cameos.

He spoke a little bit on that in an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon:

“This is happening. We are getting ready to shoot it in New Jersey. We start in a couple of weeks. It’s good. We worked hard on the script. We didn’t want to let anybody down. People have been asking me for a long time, ‘Do Happy Gilmore 2?’ and I was always like, ‘Nah, I don’t want to let you down.’

But then me and my buddy Tim Hurley, we came up with an idea and we’re really excited about it. We wrote our asses off. We’re continuing to try to make it a movie that you guys will like and I think… we’re excited. So many of the golfers are being nice and they’re gonna be a part of it.”

At first, Sandler was only willing to tease that the likes of John Daly and Tiger Woods could be making an appearance in the revival. Now, he’s seemingly suggesting that we’ll see a lot of pro golfers (PGA and LIV?) in the new movie. And Fallon asked a follow up to see if Sandler had hooked up Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce with a role.

Sandler was able to confirm that the star football player will have a cameo in the project:

“Yes. Travis has been… he mentioned it, and so we have a nice something for Travis. He’s gonna come by and he’s a very nice guy. What a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and he’s so funny.”

It’ll be interesting to see how big of a role Kelce will play, but the cameo will act as yet another media project that the tight end has been a part of. Travis seems to be carving out a post-football-career-lane for himself as he continues to star in movies and TV shows, and I’m sure it will be an honor for him to be cast alongside Happy Gilmore himself for the classic film’s highly anticipated sequel.
