Weddings are serious business. World-renowned vocalist Lionel Richie’s daughter Sofia Richie got married over the weekend and her wedding in the South of France was one for the ages.

Model and Lionel Richie’s daughter, Sofia Richie tied the knot over the weekend. She married British record executive Elliot Grainge in the South of France in a breathtaking ceremony.

Sofia Richie was born to Lionel Richie and his second wife Diane Alexander on August 24, 1998. Her parents divorced in 2004. In the past, Richie has dated Justin Bieber and Scott Disick of Kardashian fame.

Her first bridal look was a dazzling high-neck long-sleeved Chanel Haute Couture gown. She wore it for her rehearsal dinner a night before the big day. She looked breathtaking in the custom-made beaded beautiful gown.

In a clip of the blushing bride shared by Vogue, Richie can be heard saying ‘I’m scared to move because I don’t want to ruin one bead.” The bride gushed, “This is like a fairytale. It really is. It’s like an art piece. I feel like a princess, I really do!”

To complete her look she wore diamond drop House of Harlow 1960 earrings which were designed by her older sister Nicole Richie.

For the wedding itself, Sofia Richie wore another Chanel Haute Couture dress. The dress had a halter neckline. She paired her custom dress with a sparkling veil which was attached to her low chignon hairstyle. She looked stunning underneath her veil in a natural dewy look.

The bride herself gave followers a glimpse of her dress and hairstyle by posting a video of the moment she threw her bouquet.

And her third and final Chanel custom dress was a Chanel Haute Couture two-piece minidress set. She wore the dress at her after-party which was held after the ceremony.

“This, to me, is like my little girl dream,” the young bride said. “And the fact that it is inspired [by] Claudia Schiffer’s runway dress is iconic and dope.”

Sofia began dating Grainge in 2021 and the pair became engaged a year later. Richie converted to Judaism ahead of the nuptials.
