Meghan Markle showed a clear sign of “nervousness” during a royal outing with Princess Kate, according to an expert. After the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, Prince Harry, Meghan and Kate gathered at Windsor Castle to interact with fans and view touching tributes.

However, video footage from this emotional occasion suggests that the atmosphere might not have been as cordial as it appeared for the two Royal couples.

Body language expert Jesus Enrique Rosas made observations about Prince Harry guiding Meghan away from Prince William and Kate, describing it as one of the most ‘spectacular displays of body language’ he had ever witnessed.

Despite reports of Prince William extending an olive branch to Harry and Meghan, Jesus believes the footage from the day reveals underlying tension. There seemed to be confusion over seating arrangements in the car involving the four royals.

The video shows Harry directing Meghan to the right-hand side, which was already occupied by Kate. He then guided her by the waist and awkwardly walked past Prince William. According to Jesus, Meghan’s fleeting gesture was a tell-tale sign of her nervousness. He pointed out that Meghan briefly placing her hand on her chest was a defensive move.

In a video on his Royal Rogue YouTube channel, the body language expert commented: “It was obvious that despite how uncomfortable Catherine could be, she managed to slay. She nailed the way one should behave when you find yourself in a situation in which you need to share the stage with others.”

“Meghan was nervous, looking in Catherine’s direction, and Meghan’s left hand – was at least, for a split second – covering her chest. Catherine was walking tall with her hands relaxed and her chin really up.”

Kate exuded confidence during the event, striding with her chin up, which signalled her authority without coming across as arrogant.

Prince William greeted the crowd warmly, expressing his thanks before being joined by Kate, then Harry, and finally Meghan, who acknowledged the crowd with a subtle wave to her left.

Harry, after guiding Meghan to her side of the car, took his place behind William. It’s been said that Kate confided in a senior Royal that the walkabout was incredibly challenging for her.

This moment came prior to Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir, Spare, which revealed deep-seated family issues and his feelings towards his brother.

Harry went on to further criticise the Royal establishment in the revealing Netflix documentary that chronicled his and Meghan’s step back from Royal life.
