There’s a reason why Rema took home the Next Rated award at the 2019 Headies among very stiff competition.

The singer has released three amazing EPs this year alone: “Rema,” “Rema Freestyle” and “Bad Commando,” all of them containing bangers.

To end the year, two of his songs have ended up on two of the most prestigious year-end lists of 2019, Rolling Stone’s and Pitchfork’s.

His “Iron Man,” off his debut EP was ranked the 40th best song of the year by Rolling Stone, with the publication likening his voice to “warm honey.”

“Dumebi” was Pitchfork’s pick, ranking it as the 72nd best song of the year.

Here’s to an even better 2020 to the singer, with even more bangers.
