Usually, a skirt is a good, neutral wardrobe basic to build upon—unless you’re Christina Aguilera, that is. The pop singer has a history of wearing statement skirts that are bold, surreal, and way more unexpected than your standard mini or maxi style. This summer, for one, she wore a Namilia skirt that was shaped into the style of an Hermès Birkin bag: It even featured the top-handle straps and pockets! Yesterday, for an appearance at Jimmy Kimmel Live in L.A., Aguilera continued her love of the avant-garde with a brand new skirt. This one might even make you smile.
