David Beckham forced to answer Thierry Henry question before getting prediction wrong
Thierry Henry joined David Beckham before AC Milan took on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and forced him to pick a winner for the matchup, which he promptly got wrong.
Beckham was in the stands recording a video for social media before telling Henry to say hello. The Arsenal legend made his way to the co-owner of Inter Miami before quizzing him on who will win the contest.
“The big man. In his old stadium, watching both of his teams,” Henry said [ h/t TNT Sports ], referencing Beckham’s stints with Milan and PSG. Then, the Frenchman pressed the 48-year-old Beckham to pick a winner.

“Who’s gonna win?” Henry asked. Shrugging, Beckham jokingly replied: “I’m not gonna say.”
To which Henry and Beckham had a quick back-and-fourth on why the latter couldn’t reveal who he wanted to win. Eventually, Beckham relented and told Henry that he wanted it to be a draw, giving the former World Cup winner an answer. And despite the 48-year-old wanting to see a draw between the two sides he used to play for, that was not the case.
Milan beat PSG, 2-1, thanks to goals from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud in the 12th and 50th minutes. PSG took an early 1-0 lead after Milan Skriniar headed the ball away from the outstretched arms of Mike Maignan from a corner in the ninth minute.

After the former Inter Milan star headed PSG in front, Leao took the ball from midfield and passed it to Giroud at the edge of the box. Though the Frenchman’s shot was deflected, Leao took advantage of the scramble and bicycle-kicked the ball underneath former Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, on his return to San Siro.
Then, in the 50th minute, Giroud’s header to the top right corner gave Milan a 2-1 lead, which they wouldn’t relinquish. After the game, fans threw fake banknotes at Donnarumma, whom the club had seen rise through the ranks before he left for PSG for free.
Beckham played for Milan in 2009 and 2010, when he was loaned to the Italian side by LA Galaxy and made 29 total appearances. The English legend ended his career playing for PSG in 2013, appearing in 10 games before officially retiring after that season. And even though he’s now the co-owner of an MLS team, he is still remembered fondly in Europe.
