Football legend David Beckham has revealed a secret nod to his Spice Girl wife Victoria, with a hidden tattoo.

David, who has been married to wife Victoria since July 1999, has the word “Posh” hidden amongst his hand tattoos to honour his wife’s Spice Girls alter-ego. David Beckham already has over 60 tattoos, and each one has a unique meaning to the football star and he’s become well known for his impressive ink collection.

The new tattoo was also even more of a family affair, with David reportedly getting the ink alongside his 18-year-old son Cruz Beckham who has also joined in with “Posh” inked on his arm. 18-year-old Cruz now has four tattoos, so is quickly following in his dad’s footsteps with his love of body art.

This tattoo isn’t David’s only family inspired body art, as he also has a piece dedicated to Victoria on his arm as well a huge piece with his four children’s names. He initially began adding family inspired art to his body when his son Brooklyn was born in 1999 when he got his son’s name inked on his lower back in a gothic style font. He’s since had all of his children’s names added to his body, including his only daughter Harper.

In 2015, David got a drawing his then-four-year-old daughter drew for him inked on his palm. At the time, fashion mogul Victoria gushed over her husband’s charming new body art on Twitter, sharing a photo of his new addition with the caption: “Harper is a true little artist.”

Another tattoo that david has by his children is a sweet handwritten tattoo based off a card from Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz which reads: “We love you Daddy”.

David has “Posh” tattooed on his hand, as a nod to wife Victoria’s Spice Girls days
David’s latest tattoo is a sweet nod to his wife’s former Spice Girls days and it comes as fans have been hopeful since June that the Spice Girls could reunite next year for their 30th anniversary, with hints being dropped that they might even headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.

In 2019, the beloved girl band of Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Mel C , and Emma Bunton – minus Victoria Beckham – got back together for a string of tour dates across the UK and Ireland. It was the first time the Spice Girls had performed together since the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony.

However fans might be getting excited too soon, as sources close to Victoria have been clear that the star and fashion designer will not rejoin her bandmates to perform at Glastonbury next year. Speaking to The Mail On Sunday in July, a source close to VB has revealed that she won’t be joining her band next year, regardless of echoed pleas from fans around the world.

They said: “Glastonbury is possibly the coolest gig on the planet but Victoria won’t be doing it next year. She has carved herself a career as a fashion designer that she has put blood, sweat and tears into, so singing is something she has to carefully consider.”

They went on: “She looks back fondly on her years in the Spice Girls – they were very special to her – so she hasn’t ruled out a one off celebration, maybe, at some point. And Glastonbury are not at all keen on having the group without Posh, it just doesn’t have the same pull.”
