‘He knows what he’s doing’ and ‘If he smells as good as he looks…. just saying’.

The latest business venture comes after ‘raked in £72million’ in 2023, after the release of his hugely successful Netflix documentary.

The former footballer and his wife Victoria, 49, could be well on course to make £100million next year after the fashion designer’s brand also turned a profit – for the first time in 15 years.

Their tell-all four-part series, which premiered last October, saw the Beckhams’ give an intimate insight into their marriage and early romance, their family life, as well as charting David’s footballing career.

Company figures released late last month revealed David Beckham Ventures Limited and Seven Global LLP made a £72.6m profit through sponsorships and his production company.

And according to a new report, the documentary, which pulled a record breaking 3.8million viewers during the first week, was worth over £20million.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s been a golden year for Goldenballs. The Netflix documentary deal was worth over £20 million alone and its huge success has been vindication.’

Brooklyn’s fans shocked as he uses $20 avocado oil to fry chicken

‘David continues to be flooded with commercial and partnership offers and has never been more in demand – despite retiring 10 years ago.

‘The couple are on course to make over £100m next year which is quite astonishing.’

Victoria’s fashion and beauty empire has racked up losses of over £66 million since it launched in 2008.

But the designer turned a profit for the first time in 15 years – with the help of an £890 clutch bag, a £30 eyeliner and a carefully orchestrated social media strategy which sees her post make-up tutorial videos on TikTok.

David is not the only one who is making the most of their powerhouse brand Beckham.

The footballer’s eldest son Brooklyn, 24, is in the advanced stages of planning the launch of his very own ‘Brand Beckham’ — called Cloud 23 after the No 23 shirt which his superstar father David wore at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy, the Mail On Sunday reported.

Brooklyn has set up a Californian company called Peltz Beckham — the blended family name which he took after marrying Nicola in 2022.

Lawyers for Peltz Beckham LLC have filed for a slew of trademarks for Cloud 23 at the U.S. Patent And Trademark Office to cover kitchen knives, cutlery, hats, T-shirts and sweatshirts, sauces, booze (from spirits to beer), non-fungible tokens… and much else besides.

Brooklyn’s billionaire father-in-law Nelson Peltz has been advising him on building his empire.
