Fairport, N.Y. (WHAM) — Kansas City Chief’s Travis Kelce, and brother, Philadelphia Eagles Jason Kelce, are giving big recognition to one Fairport native.

You may remember Julia Maddalina, who took on a painting challenge from the Kelce brothers.

Last week on their “New Heights” podcast, they said they would like to see the viral moment of Jason at the Bills/Chiefs game at Highmark Stadium as a painting.

Well, Maddalina took to what she knows best, and shared the results on social media.

The post of the painting instantly caught traction.

We’re happy to share, the Kelce’s did in fact see Maddalina’s painting. In fact, they loved it, and shared it on their podcast on Friday.

“She nailed it.” said Jason.

“This is exactly, this is the one I was thinking of in my head,” said Travis. “You can feel the passion in Jason in this portrait.”

Maddalina’s painting was featured as the thumbnail on the video, and both brothers claimed it to be their favorite.

“I would love to get that one framed, I need to get that one framed,” said Travis.

“This one looks the most like something you would see out of a museum,” said Jason.

We spoke with Maddalina on Saturday about accomplishing her goal.

“I was like, anything can happen,” said Maddalina. “They could totally not see it. But, with the amount of drive it was getting, it would be kind of crazy for them not to.”

Maddalina said after numerous requests, she is working on getting prints out on her website.

She hopes this is the beginning of integrating sports into her art.
