Just In : Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman ‘Accused’ of leaking Game plans to other teams.

Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Mecole Hardman has publicly denied accusations by the New York Jets that he leaked game plans during his time with the team.

While Mecole Hardman may have ended the season with the Kansas City Chiefs as a Super Bowl champion, he started the season as a New York Jet in a $6.5 million contract made last offseason. By week 4, Hardman told The Pivot podcast he had pleaded for the Chiefs to come and get him.

In what some believe to be a retaliation, Jets sources – publicly and anonymously – have alleged that Hardman leaked several of their game plans to opponents during the 2023 season. Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner was the first to lay claim in a since-deleted post to X – formerly Twitter.

We ain’t gon talk about how our offensive gameplan got leaked vs. the Eagles.

NFL reporter for New York’s SNY Connor Hughes said there was a validated belief from the Jets that Hardman, who had been frustrated by his lack of usage on-field, leaked the plans to both the Eagles and the Chiefs. Hughes noted that the Eagles’ victory had been the best of the season for the Jets while quarterback Zach Wilson played his best game against the Chiefs.

In a post to X on Friday, Hardman called the accusations false as he always wants to win, no matter the circumstances.

Meanwhile, Hardman is in search of a new team as his contract with the Chiefs has expired.
