KSI boldly claims he could beat 54-year-old Mike Tyson in a boxing match as YouTuber insists: ‘Age is on my side’

KSI has declared that he believes he would beat Mike Tyson if they fought now.

The hugely successful YouTuber turned professional last year and won his debut with a split decision against fellow online star Logan Paul.

Before that he had two white collar bouts – one win against Joe Weller and one draw against Paul which led to their pro fight.

Now though, he has made his biggest claim yet and said he would beat Tyson.

The former undisputed heavyweight champion is 54 years of age, but far from out of shape.

This year, ‘Iron Mike’ has worked his way back into top condition and announced his own comeback for exhibition bouts – starting with Roy Jones Jr on November 28.

Speaking in the latest Sidemen video, it was asked whether KSI could beat Tyson and he answered: “I actually could though, I actually could.

“I’m undefeated, no-one has beaten me.”

The rest of the YouTuber group reacted with uproar when the 27-year-old said this.

They pushed back on his claim and asked if he believes Mike Tyson would ever draw with Logan Paul, as he did in their 2018 white collar contest.

KSI replied: “I think Logan would beat Mike Tyson.”

When pushed to justify his reasoning, he said: “The reason why – age is on my side. Age is on my side.

“In the first few rounds I ain’t going [all out].”

The others responded by shouting him down and saying he wouldn’t survive the first few rounds.

KSI was ultimately challenged to text his coach – highly rated cruiserweight prospect Viddal Riley – to ask his opinion.

Upon receiving a reply, KSI hilariously revealed: “Viddal said, ‘Nah, man.’

“He said, ‘You’d have to survive three rounds of three minutes, then possibly.’”

Regardless, the YouTuber stood firm and insisted: “I need to survive three rounds.”
