Boxing legend Mike Tyson has said that he wants to face Logan Paul in a WWE match.
Paul made his first appearance for WWE at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, before signing a deal for a set number of matches per year in 2022.
The social media star and boxer impressed fans during singles matches against The Miz, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, before signing a new multi-year contract with the company in April of last year.
Paul returned to action at SummerSlam, defeating Ricochet, before pinning Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship at Crown Jewel in October.
‘The Maverick’ was also on the card for the recent Royal Rumble premium live event, successfully defending his title against Kevin Owens via a DQ victory.
Paul is also slated to appear at the upcoming Elimination Chamber event in Australia this month, although it is unclear as to who his opponent will be, and it appears likely that the 28-year-old will once again have a match at WrestleMania.
And while that match almost certainly won’t be against Tyson, the boxing icon has stated his interest in facing Paul in a WWE contest.
‘Iron Mike’ appeared at WrestleMania 14 as the special outside enforcer for the main event between Shawn Michaels and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, helping the latter to win the WWE Championship.
But he didn’t wrestle in his stint with WWE, with legendary announcer and former head of talent relations Jim Ross revealing on his ‘Grilling JR’ podcast that, to his knowledge, Tyson was not pitched to wrestle a match at that time.

However, the man himself has confirmed he does want to step inside the squared circle.
Speaking to Alfred Konuwa of Pro Wrestling Bits in May, he exclaimed: “I’m in the wrestling Hall of Fame!
“I loved wrestling all my life. The Valiant Brothers, Bruno Sammartino, that’s just who I was: the arrogant talker and the bad guy who people booed.
“That’s when I realised you can’t remember the good guy without the bad guy. That’s what makes the good guy famous, is the bad guy. The good guy is nothing without the bad guy, the bad guy is the biggest draw. That’s why Floyd Mayweather [who faced Big Show at WrestleMania 24] and myself were the biggest draws, because we were the bad guys.
“Have you ever seen me wrestle before? I would do it [face Logan Paul]. I would kick his ass. Yes, I would do it. Even though I love him, though.”
He even added: “Deep down inside – don’t let [WWE] know – I would do this for free.”
At 57 years old, it would be interesting to see whether Tyson would want to work an entire match – but you can never count ‘Iron Mike’ of doing anything inside the ring.
