Taylor Swift Just Convinced Me I Need These Cool-Girl Fall Boots

It’s Taylor Swift’s fall and we’re just living in it. She’s everywhere, from NFL stadiums to my Twitter, Instagram, and Apple News feeds. But while the internet is obsessing over her recent friendships (and rumored romances), I can’t stop thinking about her perfect autumnal ‘fits. To me, she’s always been the queen of classic fall fashion. Few do a cozy knit better than Swift, and her mini-dress and knee-high boot combo has been living rent-free on my October mood board. And this weekend, she reminded me of fall’s edgiest boots that my wardrobe is surprisingly missing.

When out in New York City, the singer-songwriter wore an oversized crew-neck sweater, a mini skirt with mixed denim and flannel fabric (like I said, no one does fall better!), and a sleek pair of black combat boots.

Her lace-up boots, which featured buckle details at the side and a small heel, brought a cool-girl touch to her otherwise sweet outfit — plus, they looked remarkably practical. So I immediately set out to find similar styles that could add a slight edge to my otherwise timeless fall staples, and found 10 lookalike pairs starting at $34:

If you want the look for less, grab Dream Pairs’ combat boots that are currently on sale for just $34. Like Swift’s pair, these have buckles at the side and a slim fit at the calf, and though black is the best option for those wanting to copy-and-paste her look, they’re also available in 12 other colors. This style is a shopper-favorite, with more than 9,600 five-star ratings at Amazon, where customers say that they’re “extremely sturdy…but also lightweight,” and “as comfortable as slippers.” And according to one person, they were able to walk “miles and miles” in the shoes without their feet ever getting sore.

Vionic’s Lani boots are a best-seller at Zappos, with shoppers obsessed with how well the shoes blend comfort and style. “[I] work on my feet all day [and] they have been amazing,” wrote a shopper who was impressed that the “so comfortable” shoes required “no break in time.” Plus, they “get so many compliments” on the style. Another person who couldn’t believe the comfort wrote that these even replaced their orthotics thanks to the impressive “sole and arch support.” “[They’re] lovely relief for my usually sore feet,” they shared.

Swift’s combat boots are now at the top of my fall must-haves list. Shop more styles inspired by her look below.
