Taylor Swift’s jet tracker suggests ways for pop star to avoid location leaks

The man behind Taylor Swift’s jet tracking account denied wrongdoing and offered the pop star some suggestions on how to improve her safety.

Jack Sweeney uses public information to keep an eye on Taylor’s location and thus get a better gage for her carbon emissions and environmental footprint. The Bad Blood singer sent him a cease and desist letter, worrying about her own personal safety amid ongoing stalking issues by the public.

However, Jack believes there is a way to keep her safe “if her privacy and safety is of uttermost importance.” He suggested to The Mirror that Taylor “Register [her] jet to a trust like TVPX or Bank of Utah Trustee.”

The Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur explained that when the jet is linked to an LLC that can be tracked back to an individual, that poses a potential security risk, “especially when the LLC is the Initial’s to the names in your family. SATA LLC (Scott, Andrea, Taylor, Austin).”

Additionally, he pointed out that the tail number of the star’s jet isn’t hard to guess as it is a clear reference to Taylor herself. The jet name, N898TS, includes both her initials and her partial birth year which is also an album name of hers.

A legal letter sent to Jack notes: “We are aware of your public disputes with other high-profile individuals and your tactics in those interactions, including offering to stop your harmful behavior only in exchange for items of value. While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client. Ms. Swift has dealt with stalkers and other individuals who wish her harm”

Although Jack’s actions do potentially expose Taylor’s location, he insists that violating her safety isn’t what he’s hoping for. He explained: “Firstly, I’d like to clarify that my intentions are not to cause harm. In fact, I actually like some of Swift’s songs. But I believe in the importance of transparency and public information, seemingly more so than Meta.”

Jack further justified his endeavour, saying: “Swift’s team suggests that I have no legitimate interest in sharing jet information, which is fundamentally incorrect. Her fans, who have grown the TaylorSwiftJets accounts and subreddit, are the ones truly interested. These tracking accounts consistently have more supporters and fans. When the Embassy of Japan in the USA expresses confidence that Swift can make a flight from Tokyo to the Super Bowl, it indicates public interest.”

It’s worth noting that Taylor does not crack the list of top 30 celebrities in terms of private jet carbon emissions, according to MyClimate Carbon Tracker. Moreover, she has been the ongoing victim of stalking and harassment with the most recent occurrence happening last month when a man was arrested at her New York City home multiple times, returning over the course of a few days.

A spokesperson for Taylor told The Mirror: “We cannot comment on any ongoing police investigation but can confirm the timing of stalkers suggests a connection. His posts tell you exactly when and where she would be.”
