Travis Kelce’s new plans for Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ outlined by his father after Super Bowl

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is ready to cheer on Taylor Swift as her “Eras Tour” continues this year. His dad has even hinted at the places he might join her.

Taylor flew all the way from Tokyo, Japan, to see Travis and his team win the Super Bowl earlier this month. It was her 13th game watching him up close in the NFL season. Travis also flew to Buenos Aires, Argentina, during his bye week to watch her sing.

Now that the football season is over, Travis can join Taylor wherever she goes. His dad, Ed Kelce, thinks Travis might fly to Sydney and Singapore to see her perform.

“Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, ‘Are you going to take off for Sydney?’ And he seemed keen,” Ed told The Sydney Morning Herald. “He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments. He is at a celebrity charity golf outing today (Tuesday), which, I think, is in Las Vegas.”

In March, Taylor’s tour will head to Europe. She’ll be singing in Germany, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland. Travis will need to be back at Chiefs training camp by summer, but he could tour Europe before then to support Taylor.

While in Buenos Aires, Kelce watched his girlfriend perform and had a chat with Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift. He even managed to get the known Philadelphia Eagles fan to wear a Chiefs lanyard. Fans were thrilled to see him there, but Ed Kelce thinks Taylor has also made a big impact on football.

“She loves football so much, and she sets a good example during games,” he added. “I was so shocked that during the Super Bowl, my buddies and I left some rubbish near us, and when Taylor got up, she stopped and picked it all up and put it in the trash.

“I thought that spoke volumes. This is someone with celebrity power like no other, but she comes from a good family and spent time with her mother [Andrea Swift] and her brother [Austin Swift]; they’re good folk.”

Taylor was also seen giving stadium staff $100 notes for bringing drinks to the executive boxes. According to the security team at Mercedes-Benz Stadium – home of the Atlanta Falcons – she’s the nicest famous person they’ve ever met. Since Taylor started showing an interest in the NFL, she’s brought in lots of new fans, and this was clear to see at the final game.

Super Bowl LVIII, the first one held in Las Vegas, broke viewing records all over the world. A record 123.7 million people watched it in the United States, and TV channels in England and Germany also got lots of viewers.
