JUST IN: 50 Cent Break Silence on Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Feud With Kanye West Banned Bianca Censori From Social Media

In his new Billboard digital cover story written by Carl Lamarre, the veteran rapper shares why he mentored artists like Pop Smoke and DaBaby, and what he thinks of today’s rising hip-hop artists.

“I only like the ones that I see myself in. A lot of the other sh-t, I be like, ‘Yeah, what the f–k is this, man?’ I’ve got to believe them and the sh-t they’re saying to be into the artist.

They [also] have to want to be mentored. I’ll talk to them and touch base with them because I see that in them. You go, ‘Yo, you have to focus on what you came for and what’s important to you, and get those things together versus just riding it out.’”

The multi-hyphenate also brought up Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, saying: “The way I had competitive energy: Hip-hop culture makes you battle. I love Nicki Minaj, but the funny sh-t is, I like watching her when she’s upset. I like that because she has something that comes from the experience of living in South Jamaica. I’m looking at it like, ‘Yo, I know they think she’s nuts, but they only think that because they don’t understand.’ I get it. She thinks you’re trying to play her.”

“When Cardi B came, I thought she was dope,” he continued. “She’s from the bottom. She was in Club Lust in Brooklyn. [Going] from that and actually making a hit record and turning into who she did? I don’t know why anybody wouldn’t like to see that. It felt like she got everything — married, the baby — it came really fast. That’s the American dream right there.”

Tensions between Minaj and Cardi B began in 2017. Things turned physical a year later when their entourages clashed and the “Bodak Yellow” rapper got into an altercation with a close friend of Minaj’s while they all were at a Harper’s Bazaar New York Fashion Week event.

That same week, 50 Cent took it upon himself to comment on their beef. While online footage showed Tekashi69 dancing to Minaj’s music in the club, the DJ abruptly switched to “Bodak Yellow” saying, “I’m sorry Nicki, I’m team Cardi B on this side.” Knowing 69 released “Fefe,” his collab featuring Minaj earlier that year, 50 wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post, “No @djspinking that’s female sh-t stay out of that, now Nicki gonna get mad at 69 for turning up, trust me she on her South Side sh-t.”

Kanye West Banned Bianca Censori From Social Media Amid Fear Comments Over Her Dressing Style

Kanye West has banned his wife Bianca Censori from using social media to protect her from negative comments, according to insiders, who claim her friends believe it’s really another tactic to further ‘isolate’ her.

DailyMail.com previously reported her friends’ ongoing fears that the rapper, 46, is manipulating his so-called ‘wife’ – and many believe his latest actions continue to highlight a pattern of ‘controlling’ behavior.

Despite the architectural designer’s loved ones even staging an intervention concerning her relationship with the rapper and his ‘controlling ways,’ her husband appears to have changed her attitude towards social media.

‘Bianca has always had social media and she was active on it – until she married Kanye,’ an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com.

‘He doesn’t want her to have it because he thinks that it will hurt her if she had to read the nasty things that people say.

‘He convinced her that, since she is a star now, she has to remain a mystery and it is creepy to those who know her as it feels like another form of control.’

However, friends have taken issue with the fact the rapper, who goes by the name Ye, is posting racy images of his wife on his own Instagram account – despite allegedly claiming she needs protection.

The insider added: ‘He is pushing her nakedness all over his own [account] so that he can control her narrative. It is disturbing, and by shutting her off from the world he is causing her to become more and more isolated.’

Friends are said to be stunned to see the usually assertive designer going along with Kanye’s demands as the source stressed: ‘This strong Bianca that was not going to deal with his s*** anymore has seemingly vanished once again.

‘She is wearing what he wants, going where he wants and doing what he wants because she really has no other choice. She went from being his designer to his wife, which is unfortunately, not a paid position. She’s trapped.’

Back in October, DailyMail.com revealed that the Grammy-winning rapper had instructed his wife to ‘never speak’ – and issued her a set of rules to live by, including specific foods she can eat and what she can wear.

Insiders claimed the designer has ‘no mind of her own anymore’ and instead simply ‘obeys’ the controversial rapper, because he has convinced her they have ‘royal’ status.

‘Kanye has a set of rules for Bianca, which includes never speak and wear what he wants her to wear,’ the source explained. ‘She is also required to eat certain food items and to work out even though Kanye doesn’t work out.’

Bianca and Kanye secretly wed in December 2022, just one month after he finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian, 43.

The designer, the daughter of a notorious Australian gangster, grew up in an upper-class neighborhood in Melbourne and attended the prestigious Carey Baptist Grammar School.

One of her former classmates previously described her as a ‘social butterfly who was friends with everyone’ before finding fame.

The couple, who were first pictured together in January, have continuously exhibited some bizarre outfits since going public, with Bianca frequently spotted wearing nude tights and flesh-flashing tops.

Earlier this month he shared a series of revealing snaps of his wife on Instagram.

He first posted a trio of pictures of Bianca to his 18.4million Instagram followers, showing her dressed in a black string bikini top and thong.

The rapper declared there will be ‘no pants this year,’ alongside one image of her in a string thong and fur bralette, while another showing her spilling out of a barely-there top, read: ‘Dropped sumn?’

Kanye’s post raised eyebrows as he had previously criticized his ex Kim for being ‘overly sexualized,’ while promoting her SKIMS brand, and once also claimed the wet look Thierry Mugler dress she wore to the 2019 Met Gala was ‘too sexy’.

Those close to Bianca were given hope that she might start fighting back against Kanye’s demands at the end of 2023 after she reportedly grew tired of being treated like his ‘silent mute’.

Following her solo trip home to Australia, she is said to have threatened he would lose her if the behavior continued.

She was also reported to have laid a ‘smack down’ on her husband over his unhinged and offensive anti-Semitic outbursts.

Insiders revealed: ‘She told him that his recent behavior was unacceptable and that he needs to apologize because he was putting them in danger and setting a horrible example for his children.

‘Bianca is really sick of his attention seeking and she knows that this is not who he truly is.’

He was slammed for anti-Semitic lyrics in his new track Vultures, which he performed at club Blu Dubai in Dubai alongside rappers Ty Dolla $ign and Lil’ Durk late last year.

In front of a large crowd, Kanye rapped, ‘How am I anti-Semitic? I just f***ed a Jewish b****’ – a reference to the anti-Semitic scandal last year which saw him booted from his lucrative partnerships with Adidas and Balenciaga.

Kanye has a documented history of antisemitism and last year lost out on a number of partnership deals after going on an explosive anti-Semitic rant.
