Kobe Bryant’s high school basketball footage being auctioned off… and it’ll take you a whole DAY to watch it all

KOBE Bryant’s high school basketball footage could be yours – but it will take you nearly an entire day to watch it all.

About 22 hours of footage of the late basketball star playing games and giving interviews will be sold on July 23 by the auction house Profiles in History.

The footage is from the media library of Stu Ross, who produced High School Sports Show, a syndicated weekly television series seen in 35 cities.

About 60 per cent of the Bryant footage is of games involving the Lower Merion Aces from the Philadephia suburbs.

Ross library includes 130 hours and more than 700 athletes, including LeBron James, Tom Brady, Michael Phelps, Ryan Braun, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal.

The footage will be sold in one lot, and the auction house estimates the price will be $250,000 to $350,000.

Bryant, a five-time NBA champion and 18-time All-Star, died in a helicopter crash on Jan. 26. He was 41.

The auction will take place at Profiles in History in Calabasas, outside Los Angeles.

Before starting a legendary career with the Los Angeles Lakers, Bryant was a star at Lower Merion.

He helped the Aces win a state championship in 1996, the school’s first in 53 years, and was a McDonald’s All-American as a senior.

Kobe’s wife Vanessa marked Father’s Day yesterday with a heartfelt message.

Vanessa, 38, posted a tribute honoring Kobe as the “BEST daddy in the world” to their four daughters, including Gianna, who also passed away in the accident.

“We miss you so much. We love you forever and always. Love, Nani, Gigi, BB, Koko and VB,” she posted to Instagram.

NBA star Isaiah Thomas also revealed his heartbreak at being unable to send a Father’s Day message to Kobe this year.

The ex-Washington Wizards point-guard – who is currently a free agent – told of how he would message “father figure” and mentor Bryant every year to mark the annual celebration.

In an emotional tweet on Sunday, Thomas wrote: “I would always text Kobe on Father’s Day and he would respond right back. #RIP.”

NBA All-Star Bryant was tragically involved in a helicopter accident earlier this year, which killed nine people including him and his 13-year-old daughter Gigi.

Bryant and his daughter were on their way to a youth basketball tournament when the aircraft crashed in Calabasas on January 26.

They died alongside college baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri, and their daughter Alyssa, Christina Mauser, a coach at Mamba Sports Academy, passengers Sarah and Payton Chester and Zobayan.

Bryant acted as a mentor for Thomas as he rose through the ranks in the professional NBA league.
