DUA LIPA new song “Training Season” coming soon

DUA LIPA has announced her new single Training Season which will be released on February 16th.

“Training Season” is the second single from Dua’s upcoming album, which will be released this year. Following the announcement, Dua also released the 30-second sound of the new single available on TikTok and all other platforms.

Speaking about the song, Dua says:

I’ve had a string of bad dates, and the last one was the straw that broke the camel’s back. The next morning I arrived at the studio and Caroline and Tobias asked me how it went and I immediately declared: ‘THE TRAINING SEASON IS OVER’ and, as in the best reports of the next day with your mates, we did a lot of laughter and everything was born from there.”

While on the one hand it’s obviously about that feeling you get when you’re absolutely done telling people… men in particular in this case… how to behave well with you, on the other hand it’s also about the fact that my season of training is over and that I have grown in every way. I have never felt so confident, clear and strong.

And even though the training season is never over for any of us, we begin to see the beauty of finding the person to experience it with.

You stop looking for apprentices and become more interested in having someone to feel like yourself with and someone to grow with.”
