Dua Opened Her World Tour In A Suitably Showstopping Neon Catsuit

Fresh from the launch of her new Service95 concierge service, Dua Lipa touched down in Miami for the first leg of her Future Nostalgia tour. Though absent from this year’s Brit Awards, Dua made her fashion influence felt stateside with a series of costume changes on stage, masterminded by her stylist, Lorenzo Posocco.

The mood? Body-con. The singer first captivated fans in the FTX Arena in a searingly bright custom Balenciaga catsuit, which featured a lingerie-inspired corseted bodice, built-in heels, a textured floral pattern and matching opera gloves.

Dua also wore Marine Serre tights – printed with the designer’s signature lunar motif – a silver glitter bodysuit and a shimmering Mugler catsuit for the high-energy gig. Casey Cadwallader was behind her custom sparkling Mugler look, and the designer posted on Instagram to thank Lorenzo for his support.

The singer is the ultimate fashion chameleon: one moment she’s lounging in Uggs and trackies, the next she’s looking other-worldly in spacey knits and platform flip-flops, or out and about in classic Breton stripes.

Of all the buzzy brands that Dua has worn since the start of the year, Balenciaga has featured the most heavily in her wardrobe. Her love affair with the brand began some time ago: at the end of last year, she stripped back her signature sparkle in favour of all black pieces from Demna’s spring/summer 2022 collection. Now, she’s rarely seen without her Balenciaga Runner sneakers, and the brand’s Hourglass and Le Cagole bags are among her favourite accessories.
